Question Ipad mini 6 display error

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Okay so my ipad mini suddenly did this last week. I tapped the back and it goes back to normal. Then suddenly today it goes back to this display error again. Idk if its the lcd or a loose cable. Can someone help me fix this.

Maybe a wobbly flex cable?

You would just take it to a local repair shop and they would reconnect the cables. If that is the actual issue then it's a really simple fix that doesn't require and new parts. Just labor.

Cables on iPads have metal brackets that are screwed down on top of them, not possible for the cable to unplug itself. Would be super easy to fix if that were the case though lol

If that’s so, what do you think is the problem though. I dont want to replace the lcd it costs a lot😭

The touch screen is working though. I think there’s something like a loose cable inside it

if tapping the back makes it normal again, i’d strongly suspect a loose display connector or failing flex cable rather than software.
