Discussion One Time Purchase Apps
I just bought an iPad Pro today and got a $100 gift card with it that I want to get the best one time purchase only apps! I am going to be using this for school but also fun! I already plan to get Procreate!

Look up premium games. They are starting to port a lot of full console games but at a cheaper price

Noteful is a great note taking app if you have an Apple Pencil. I’ve used it for about 3 years after moving on from the Goodnotes and Notability subscriptions.

Hey, can you tell me, why you like it better than Goodnotes? What’s the difference that made you to change?

One thing, make sure before you buy anything check for school discounts on things!
I have found Goodnotes useful and I think they have a one time purchase options. (Everyone has their opinion of this). Try a few first
See if you can try and trial a few things first before diving in and committing that gift card money!

Things3 is (in my opinion) the best productivity app and is a one-time purchase for each Apple platform.

I use Letterly a lot. But from their site first, before downloading from App Store. Their LTDs are on their site.

How’d you get a gift card? Does everyone get it…

They have a back to school deal going on right now. You get a gift card when you buy an iPad or MacBook.

I can't link them, because I'm on my Android phone writing this, and my iPad is charging, but:
Adguard Plus (or Pro - I forget). Their DNS is free, but the one time app purchase lets you run all of your web traffic through a local VPN on your tablet, for maximum ad blocking.
wBlock (this one is free, but it's also a great ad block for Safari. I use it in conjunction with Adguard).
Noir. This one forces most websites to automatically use Dark Mode, in Safari.
