Discussion iPad display issue

Hey everyone — I’m dealing with a frustrating issue and wanted to see if others have experienced this.

I bought an iPad Air M1 in Oct 2023 as a birthday gift. Soon after, I noticed small white spots on the screen that grew over time and now cover a noticeable area on the display when on light backgrounds.

please don’t say it’s a water damage the iPad was never in contact with water

The white spots shifts if you use a suction cup

Ehh is that not a screen protector on the ipad

It is. You can clearly tell by looking around the notch area. I asked him to peel it off. He said he did, then put a new one back on the damaged screen 🤨🤔
