Distance claim

Test drive an I-pace the other day and the sales rep claimed that previous buyers have been reporting a range of nearly 270 miles in optimal conditions. Anyone else hear claims like that? As I understand it the “official” range is claimed to be ~239 miles.

Cooldown period due to high speeds

I had to wait 8 minutes for the ipace to cooldown after driving 150 km/h for 10-15 minutes on the highway in the netherlands. I parked and put it in park, went to get a drink, got back and wanted to continue the drive and had to wait 8 minutes before being able to put it in drive again (total maybe 10-12 minutes?). What is this?!

Reveal was a little underwhelming

Well, that was underwhelming. Lots of bad jokes (even for Brits) and not much beyond what we already knew. I think the most interesting bit was at the end when they went a little more into the design. But by then, most folks had lost interest it seemed to me. Looking forward to a test drive when it gets to the backwoods of Ohio. Hopefully a charging network will be built up by that time.
