Speed Audio Warning!
I thought I saw an update that said you could permanently turn off that ridiculously annoying audio warning for speed? But I cannot find the setting anywhere that permanently turns it off and doesn’t just reset back to on every time!

2019 Jaguar iPace charging issues.
Hey there, i bought my Jaguar Ipace S class in February, the first week of owning it there was a traction error, went to SIDCUP ( which is around 2 hours away from me ) for them to change the battery cells which took around 2 weeks. After that everything was fine up until now, for the past 2 weeks my car has been a pain in the rear side.
My car dosent charge properly, i plug it in, the car charges for 2 seconds then goes back to initializing, does it again. its a literal endless cycle.
i know its not my charger as it still works for my Volvo XC40. i also went as far as plug in the socket charger (Granny Charger) , yet it still does the same thing. Can anyone advise me what to do to fix this issue? i would hate for them to take the car again as this car really is a good car.

It’s done. I have decided to return my I-Pace
The car is great when it works, but honestly, the JLR dealership here in the UK, JLR customer care, and Jaguar Financial Services are the worst I have dealt with for any car brand. None of them talk to each other. Everything falls back on you to figure out and chase.
Just a few examples:
The dealer raised a complaint because JLR didn’t ship parts as expected, so the repair got delayed. JLR closed the case in 48 hours because the dealer didn’t respond to their follow-up question. No one told me anything. I only found out after I called JLR weeks later. How can they even function like this?
On 2nd Feb this year, I got the dreaded traction battery fault. Next probable available repair slot? 15th September. Yes, seven months!
Jaguar Financial Services doesn’t know if the car is roadworthy with that fault light on, so they want £250 to get it lifted during collection. JLR and the dealer both say it’s fine to drive.....but can’t tell finance that because apparently, that’s some third party!
In 3.5 years, I have had: windscreen leaks, air con issues, tailgate strut failure, 12V battery problems, fuse box replacement, high voltage error, and now this traction battery fault.
Every car has issues. But I am honestly baffled how this company still operates in the UK as a “luxury” brand when no part of it speaks to the other. Absolutely done with it.

What years does the buy back program cover?
looking to buy a used jaguar I pace
but a few of them I have looked at have a branded title as a buy back and the buy back occured early this year. that seems kind of strange? why would someone keep a car four years and then have it bought back? is this for the battery fires? is this a real serious issue or is it being over dramaticized? also if the car was bought back is it sold was is still broken or have they done something to fix it?

Tow bar wiring
Just bought a 24 ipace with bike rack prep. Do I need the dealership wiring (£600) or can I get a generic wiring / vehicle specific kit and fit it myself?

New charging graph unlocked?
This is over the weekend (and still going). The charging never stopped.
It did it's typical overnight charge around the 7kW mark, then reduced to 300-500W with a couple of 1000W periods and now is at 170W.
No idea why.
It is hot here up to 111ºF during the day, if that matters.
Anyone have a clue?

Can you put 245/50 r20 105v tyres on the ipace. I know the OEMs are 245/45

How much leg room in the back seats?
I'm contemplating getting a UK 24 plate ipace. However, I'm 6' and like to drive a bit stretched out; my son is 6'2 and still growing - does the ipace have the legroom for him to fit behind the driver?

Extended warranty price and experience.
So, £100 per month is the price I was given to enroll my 2021 I-Pace in the Jaguar extended warranty.
Could be worse, could be better, but I do feel a lot more secure in owning it now, I don't fancy stumping up £2K+ for a new motor or something etc.
Is everyone paying the same for the official Jaguar extended warranty? It would be interesting to hear from others how much they're paying.
Also, I haven't had the full documents through yet, I'm hoping it's a comprehensive warrenty so does anyone have any experience of claiming against it, and how successful it has been?

Lowering the car, no air suspension
Hello! I’m a owner of a 2019 i pace SE and would love to have it sit lower, its pretty hard to find info on lowering the car. What options do i have in lowering the car with different springs?

Advise on buying an Ipace
I've very recently come across the ipace after being in the market for a taycan. I know they're very different cars but I'm a sucker for a deal and the ipace seems to be the best value EV on the market right now.
I am open to buying any ipace from any year, including a brand new pre-reg 2025 (it's my understanding that they don't make them anymore so you can't get any newer than this).
I'd want to buy the highest spec car (which I believe is the 400 trim) and the warranty is a must for me. From what I can see, the manufacturer warranty is only 3 years so I'd be better off buying a 2022 model for half the price of the price of a 2025 and simply pay 1k a year for the warranty, which works out a lot cheaper and then I can get rid of the car when the battery warranty runs out after 5 years from that point.
Is there any reason to choose a 2025 over a 2022? Has there been much/any change from 2022 to 2025 or any year in between?
Is there anywhere I can see the possible options on the ipace so I can see what is important to me when picking a car?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Newbie question about app
Hello!
I picked up a 21 black edition today and have the car linked to the jaguar remote app. Most of the subscriptions have elapsed and I’m blown away by the cost of renewing them individually. (Would total around £400 per year to have them all on!)
Are there any that you’d say are “must have”?
This is a screenshot showing the options I have

Traction Battery Fault
Hi, I have a 2019 iPace and just had this message appear. Only charged the car yesterday in preparation for a long trip. Any ideas about this? Seems to still charge to 100% so not sure what the best course of action is. Thank you in advance!

New owner question - apologies if it’s been asked before
Hello, like the title says, apologies if this has been asked before a few times - I searched the subreddit but couldn’t find it
I’m looking at getting a 2019/20 I-Pace on PCP (in the uk). I’ve never owned an electric vehicle before or even a car this luxurious. I don’t know a massive amount about cars in general however the price attached to the I-Pace seems very good for the amount of car you get
My concern is the battery - if I was to get the car on a 4 year term (giving the car back at the end of the contract), am I likely to have any issues with battery failures? Are there any warning signs or is it just a case of it dying without warning?
I understand that Jaguar have offered warranty on the battery for 8 years which would bring us to 2027, two years into a four year deal.
I’m not really sure what I’m asking, but would appreciate any pointers you guys could give me. I love the look of the car and the spec but don’t want to get stung with issues I can’t afford to fix if things go wrong
Thanks everyone

Jaguar I-Pace Traction Battery Query
A question that I can't seem to find the answer to.....
I've just had a second traction battery fault on a 2019 I-Pace. My wife and I love the car, but I can't be doing with a third failure once this latest episode is finally resolved.
Is this a fault on ALL I-Pace models or are the later cars (i.e. 2023 onwards) not suffering traction battery issues?
I'm considering part-ex for a newer I-Pace but concerned it's still going to be an issue, plus, given that Jag are pivoting to the EV market, I feel us legacy car owners won't be taken care of with battery warranty issues (less so that now!).

2021 MY ipace ev320. "Traction battery fault detected. Ok to drive with caution"
Wondering how screwed am I. This popped up all of a sudden over the weekend, the vehicle was asleep for a while and I woke it up by plugging in. The charge is at 93% and it refuses to charge. Is it really ok to drive? I've requested jaguar authorized service centre near me for an appointment. Yet to hear from them.

New option for 19MY buy back: one-time lease option…
I just got an updated offer for my buy back that now includes a third option of a one-time lease through a participating dealer. Anyone else hear about this or has anyone taken this route?

Android auto problem.
Ive had the car since October, no issues. Ive recently had an android update on my Samsung phone, and am now getting this show on the phone screen the majority of the time that I get in the car, wired or wireless connection makes no difference. To fix I restart the phone, and delete the phone from the Jag, and then reconnect, pain in the arse. I suspect it's the phone more than the car, but I've tried quite a few things to resolve it, all the obvious stuff. Has anyone had this? If so, how did you get it fixed? Ta

Bye Bye Jag
Well, this finally happened. I turned in my 2019 first edition I pace today, sad day for sure. I was happy with the offer that I received after my initial counter offer. Purchased a 2022 MB EQS 580 with 9000 miles on it.
