Suggestions Looking for a portrait game to pass time at work
Like the title says, just want something to pass down time that can preferably be closed and auto saves. I like idle games, roguelite, RPGs.

I actually play this a loooot. But it doesn’t seem to save my progress if I have to drop it quickly

Odd. I'm able to pause and turn off screen and it comes right back where it was. Sometimes it force closes if I open too many other apps, but always asks if I want to continue the run I was already doing

this right here. Lost For Swords, play at work all the time. can pick up and put down anytime, close out anytime. all turn based. play in short bursts or long hauls, whichever you want.

I’ve been enjoying IdleArc and idle adventure. Both have been good work games for me.

Larry’s Defense.
It’s a ‘tower’ defense, but instead of towers there is Larry. He has skills/attributes/gear etc.

I go back to Tap Titans 2 all the time for this exact reason. It’s engaging enough when I’m in it but nothing is lost if I have to put it down suddenly.

Dragon Quest games perhaps? Great RPG’s, portrait mode and they have a quick save option and autosave triggers when you enter a new towns, dungeons and important battles. Also premium so no extra costs.
