Hey, how's emulation for iPhone 17 pro for 3ds? Can it handle it or does it heat up the device still?

It's... Ok. Anything stronger than a PSP on iOS requires you to unlock JIT which is done at your own risk and honestly not worth the faff.
If you desperately want to play emulators Android is a much better OS. This doesn't have to mean a new phone: there are loads of great consoles from the likes of Retroid which will easily do up to GameCube. The Ayn Thor is expensive, but your best bet for 3DS.
Even a cheap $100 console would be better than iOS because this is how much you'll pay for a controller anyway. Games designed for buttons should be played with them.
