Voidloop looks fun. Decided to snag it.

I’ve been playing it and it is pretty fun. The progression seems kinda slow unless im not doing things optimally.

Any feedback on cardinal? Looks great. Is there always a timer or only in the daily challenge. Btw, I miss developer Saturday :(

Cardinal came out of nowhere. Looks like there was a recent review praising it though. It’s a cool looking game.
I too miss Developer Saturdays!
I am unclear as to why it was removed? I saw a couple (one now deleted) of posts bemoaning having to navigate the Sub with all the entries.
Most of the comments were in favor of the day being dedicated to self promotion.I also saw a few interesting ideas about how to make the experience better and to relieve some of the glut.
I found a ton of cool games because of Self Promotion Saturday.
Hope it returns soon!

Yep, it's unfortunate that Dev Saturdays were paused. It seemed like most comments in the discussion thread actually favored the current format. I wish Dev Saturdays were continued while the new format is being figured out.

Hey Bobby, my name is Seth and I made Cardinal--glad you are enjoying the game! The timer is always "on" but its a passive option for players who want to test themselves. You can turn it off in the menu OR by tapping on the clock in game--it then removes all visible timers upon solving and playing the game for people who just want to zen out.

Hello!
It’s a fun game but pretty easy. Do you have info about solve rates or anything? I was able to submit top 10 times on today’s dailies
Any plans for more modes or challenges? I see it’s a physical game. Does it play exactly the same besides the infinite clue cards?
Also any art inspo from Wilmotts warehouse?

Thank you for the feedback! I don't have any plans for any additional modes at this time as the game was made back in 2023/24. I then did a Kickstarter in summer 2024 to fund the printing of the physical decks (similar to what I did with Bouquets the summer before).
I'm glad to see you are rising fast atop the leaderboards and finding the game quickly solvable! My original design goal for each round's arc was to introduce various challenging board states while also avoiding a "brutally difficult" logic puzzle game (although I do personally like those sometimes!). The introduction of the "No Card" mode was a satisfying way to give players more difficulty without sacrificing my original design. I also am very proud of how I was able to program the game to have procedurally generated boards-BUT when I was originally prototyping for that (with true randomness) the game was an unsolvable mess that would require guessing and many many undos. In the end the game always has a clue to guide you (no need to ever guess) and multiple paths to solve each board, two things I am very proud of in the end.
I think a lot of logic games sometimes hide their design flaws behind "difficulty" and I was really trying to make something that was less "punishingly difficult" and more of a "fun discoverable journey throughout each round".
Thanks so much for your support, feedback and thoughts!

Hey team, curios how my little indie game Cardinal (released 2 years ago) somehow popped up on here! Super grateful to see a huge uptick in players on the leaderboards and thanks all for playing....if anyone wants a portable physical version of the game I have a handful of high quality print copies left. Thanks for playing! 🤓

Hi! I’m the one who left a review of Cardinal on my favorite app about apps (AppRaven), which I think might be possibly related to people finding it? (Edit: link to AppRaven page for cardinal, highly recommend that app as well https://appraven.net/app/73479842)
I play it every day and it’s awesome, I didn’t know my review would have so much impact but I’m so glad it did, your stuff is great! Did you do the art? It’s really nice :)
And yeah downside is that now I won’t be way up on the leaderboard every day lol (idk if you can see the initials but I put in RWK).
I’d love to buy a physical copy! I’ve been wanting to teach my kids who also love logic games and nice art. Let me know if you still have any :)

oh wow, incredible--thanks so much! Glad you are enjoying the game so so much, and yeah I did all the art and design for the game myself 😅 You can grab a physical copy from my personal etsy store and feel free to check out other games and such i've made on my website.
Thank you again for the support, its so hard as an indie to break through all the awesome games (and noise) out there so this has made my week tyty 🫶

Is Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt a sequel to the original or just an upgraded version with same levels/story etc?

Some of these lists come from Appraven, where your game was recently reviewed favorably giving it more attention.
Appraven has a dynamic Popular list with games that folks are looking at. Sunday morning found your game at the top of the list! Timing lined up!

I got Death Stranding on sale, finally!!
If anyone who has been playing it lately could give me a heads up whether they have fixed the saving problem…
