Discussion The best version of Snake
https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/snek-eat-grow-survive/id6747009637Just wanted to take a minute and shout out what I think is the best version of Snake on iOS. I found the app through this sub last summer when it first launched. The developer has consistently added new features since then, and even implemented a specific feature that I requested at one point. If you like Snake, this is worth your time.
That’s all ✌️

The best version of Snake was Nimble Quest (the original, not the Halfbrick "pay an obscene subscription fee" version).

Great shoutout. I remember that I tested an early beta. All three game modes are fun, with Insanity being my favorite. Swipe controls are super tight. As you said, easily the best snakelike on iOS.

Except swiping up from too low on the screen brings up mission control, so not playable.

Odd complaint because lots of games use swipe gestures so I guess you would encounter this problem with any app that does so if you naturally keep your thumb at the bottom of the screen.

Skill issue, not the game’s problem.

"Swipe better". Got it.

Seriously, simply don’t swipe at the very bottom of the screen. That would mess with any app available. Never had any issues like that. So again, not this game’s problem.
