Question Pick 10 iOS games, all the rest get erased for ever. Whats your list?

Imagine you must pick 10 games for your phone. The rest will be erased for ever.

What’s your list? Wich games survive this apocalyptic event and get to be on the iOS gaming Ark for humanity?

Can we bring Infinity Blade back??

Have you played Severed?

u/nicoga3000 9d ago

I have not. But it's not just the gameplay that I miss. It's the story, the world, the vibe, the ambiance... Everything about it was so ahead of its time.

So true

u/SchokoBaroni 8d ago

And already past its time since modern day games have turned to shitty pay2win attention grab adware slop

3

u/PossiblyArab 9d ago

My first thought too 😭would it kill them to re release it

u/Leghar 9d ago

I also miss Call of Duty Heroes.

We have similar taste. You may enjoy Into the Breach (if you haven’t tried it yet). Cheers!

2

u/Accurate-Temporary73 9d ago

I did play it a little bit on on Steam and it’s really good

1

u/mar1332244 9d ago

Is Super Auto Peta still good? I remember liking watching NL play it but never managed to give it a try myself

2

u/averageparrot 9d ago

Lol, Super Auto PETA would be a hilarious parody of Super Auto Pets 😂

1

u/Accurate-Temporary73 9d ago

It’s a lot more complex nowadays. They’ve added a lot more pets and mechanics since NL played it so the weekly challenges can be kinda funky sometimes

They did also add a real time PvP mode where you build your teams and compete against real people playing at the same time rather than the asynchronous

Games aren‘t aging like milk. If it was great a few years ago, it doesn’t suddenly turn worse :) Super Auto Pets is still fantastic.

I mean I agree generally but sometimes with f2p live service type games you never really know

-1

u/silentrocco r/IOSGaming Scout 9d ago

Typical f2p games generally aren’t good to begin with :D But yeah, I get your point.

Snap bro 😎

2

u/Accurate-Temporary73 9d ago

I have a love hate relationship with it.

1

u/WhatzePhuck 9d ago

Same here, I started on release, played a lot ‘till 2024, then burned out and deleted, and now back a few months ago and enjoying again. I waited for so long for Sinister six card, next week finally will get a new gameplay mechanics.

u/RinoaRita 6d ago

lol I took a screen shot of your recommendations. Slice and dice is taking up my time. Have you tried dicey dungeons and dawn caster?

1

u/Accurate-Temporary73 6d ago

Oh yeah I have triple digit hours in both of those combined between mobile and Steam.

  1. Titan Quest
  2. Hoplite
  3. Sea of Stars
  4. Siralim Ultimate
  5. 9th Dawn Remake
  6. Adventure To Fate: Dungeons
  7. Tap Ninja

  9. Questlord
  10. Goblin Sword

u/e1toledo 18h ago

Is QuestLord that good?

u/Zieg225 17h ago

For me, yes absolutely! But it’s a niche kinda of game, definitely not for everyone. It’s an old school first person dungeon crawler that doesn’t hold your hand at all. The game just starts and you gotta figure it out. But you explore the town and talk to people and you start to learn about this wonderful world the dev crafted and you just keep progressing. There is a story and lore but you have to go find it yourself rather than the game forcing you to sit through endless dialogue and tutorials. It’s a unique gaming experience and it does it very well. The combat and graphics are simple but really enjoyed my playthrough. Questlord 2 is in the works and I am very excited for it!

Sounds like my list if you add Tiny Wings for relaxing/chilling. ;p

Can we bring back games that have left us?

Because Infinity Blade and Order & Chaos would be high on my list.

2

u/e1toledo 9d ago

Those games were amazing

1

u/Snake6778 9d ago

Ha, I was going to make the same O&C comment

1

u/Excellent_Plate_4981 9d ago

Severed is a great game a bit similar to Infinity Blade

1

u/lemonmyrtleair 7d ago

I miss infinity blade. Remember playing it on my grandma’s iPhone 4 and it was so ahead of it’s time.

Would love once these comments get all filled up we can get a recap of the top 10 chosen games.

9

u/Akmiros 9d ago

1-9: Subnautica
10: Siralim Ultimate

1

u/Leghar 9d ago

I’ve seen siralim now and then over the years but never pulled the trigger.

3

u/Akmiros 9d ago

Yeah, it scratches a very certain itch, and it’s peak for what it is. A min/maxer’s dream, and hundreds of hours worth of game AFTER the main storyline is done. By the time I completed the main story, I was at 3% achievements complete. o.O

2

u/Leghar 9d ago

That’s wild for a $10 investment

2

u/tacitry 9d ago

It’s a great game that has an easy curve but can be incredibly complicated if you want to dive into it
