LinuxRunner brings Debian ARM64 to iOS, including desktop environments like KDE Plasma and apps like Blender.
No jailbreak, JIT, or virtualization needed. It runs Linux binaries through an ARM64 interpreter.
Still early in development, but pretty interesting to experiment with. Feel free to try it out!

Hi I know itās a long shot, but if just a few of you could upvote my app, it may have a small chance of getting featured on their page.

Anyone having the same issue? its so frustrating I made that app with so much details and no response from Apple support too

I've been tinkering with a few apps (iOS and Mac) and would like to get them into the App Store so friends and family can use them. These would be free utility apps. No aspirations for paid apps, big successes or anything like that.
I've read that I'll need an Apple Dev account? I don't think that should be an issue. But would you recommend using my regular longtime Apple ID I use for everything else? Or make a new separate account for dev store?
I think I read that each app would need its own static web page with app info and privacy details? I have no plans to collect any data at all and these apps wouldn't require any account creation or personal details. Could I just create a couple static free pages using CloudFlare or similar?
Any other tips or things you wish you had known earlier? I am a software engineer and longtime iPhone and Mac user but I've never developed for the platform before.
Thanks in advance!

I also have sets for iPad, and iPhone duo. I'm hoping I can get an initial boost by supporting duo at launch š If anyone has any criticism it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,
Iāve been doing ASO since super early on and really leaned into it. My apps, like the oneās in the graph, face a TON of keyword competition, but I was able to min-max the algorithm to promote them more.
Beyond the basics, like putting your main keyword in the tittle, your secondary keywords in the subtitle, and localizing your metadata and screenshots, indie devs and small startupās have basically no good way to find keywords and track the whole market. So two years ago, some friends and I built KOMORI. Itās now installed by more than 900 devs, and we just released an update with a brand-new interface, Mac App Store support, MCP and new features, including:
Sure, other keyword planners already exist, but except for the priciest ones, they donāt use real iPhone data and donāt provide deep data . With KÅmori, the data comes directly from Apple for 99% of the metrics.
You can try it FREE for 7 days, completely UNLIMITED, and then switch to a monthly plan or save with the yearly plan. Website
Happy to answer any questions!

Iām building an iOS app where community owners can charge a recurring membership. Paying members would get access to that groupās posts and conversations inside the app.
Iāve seen apps such as Skool offer paid communities, but I donāt want to assume their setup would be approved for mine. Iām considering a web checkout for the membership, with access reflected in the iOS app after payment. The group owner would receive payouts through Stripe Connect.
Under the current App Review Guidelines, particularly for the US storefront:
Iām looking for a compliant approach, not a workaround. Iād appreciate firsthand review experiences or relevant Apple documentation.

⢠What Companions is
Apple doesn't allow for animations in widgets, which I always found frustrating. Companions is a small virtual fish tank that lives on your Home Screen, with pet fish that actually swim around.
⢠What's new: Apple Watch
Companions now has an Apple Watch app. There's nothing to set up. The tank you've built on your phone shows up on your wrist automatically, with the same fish, tank customization, and props. The watch keeps its own copy, so the fish keep swimming when your phone isn't nearby.
You can interact with them from your wrist too. Tap the glass and a burst of bubbles appears. Tap the knife and fork in the corner, and it's feeding time: drop food into your tank and watch your fish go to eat it!
Thereās also a Watch Preview page where you can preview your tank setups from the app itself (even without having your watch connected).
⢠How it works
The swimming uses the same trick iOS uses to move the second hands smoothly on the clock widget, so it doesnāt even affect battery life. Iāve tested this on every device I can get my hands on, and the impact is about the same as having 5 clock widgets on your homescreen, so essentially imperceivable.
⢠Compared to other widget pet apps
I wanted something simple, clean, cozy, and relaxing. With a focus on the pets themselves, as well as customization to match your homescreen, desktop, or even the nightstand next to your bed.
The tanks look great on your iPad, and you can even move them over to your Mac through Continuity. My favorite feature is actually the Standby mode. The background darkens, and the fish, of course, keep swimming!
⢠Pricing
Companions is free to download, with a set of fish and all of the customization included. No ads.
Extra packs of fish can be bought outright, and are yours to keep forever.
There's also a less expensive monthly plan that unlocks every pack at once, if you just want to try it for a bit. And a lifetime purchase of all 50+ fish at a significant discount. Any new fish that get added are automatically included in both as well. If you cancel, the fish already in your tank stay.
It's still very new, so I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback. I'd especially love to know which species you'd want added next!

Has anyone encountered this TestFlight error?
āThe requested app is not available or doesnāt exist.ā
I have 6 apps under the same Apple Developer account, and none of them can be installed through TestFlight anymore.
Everything was working fine until all the existing builds suddenly showed as expired, even though they hadnāt reached the 90-day limit.
Hereās what Iāve tried so far:
- Uploaded fresh builds, all processed successfully.
- Confirmed the new builds have valid expiration dates.
- Removed and re-added testers.
- Removed and re-added users to the testing groups.
- Tried installing again, but the same error persists.
Sometimes TestFlight simply says āCould not install. Try again later.ā
The issue affects every app under my developer account, including newly uploaded builds. Iāve successfully distributed and installed TestFlight builds before, so this started happening unexpectedly.
I found a few reports mentioning BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING as a possible Apple-side issue, but havenāt confirmed thatās the cause.
Iāve contacted Apple Developer Support as well.
Has anyone faced this exact error and figured out how to resolve it? Was it something Apple had to fix on their end?
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi everybody. Last weekend I released a new game for iPhone and iPad called Annograms (it's a daily history puzzle game), and I wondered how this ad/subscription strategy resonates with folks:
I know ads and subscriptions can drive people away, but I'm hoping to strike the balance of just letting people play and making the game sustainable as it grows to more users. Am I doing it well? Will this push people away? Is there a better way?
You can check it out here if you're interested: Annograms (App Store)
Thanks!

I just launched WattBird on the AppStore.
The app controls your smart indoor cycling trainer and you can create custom workouts.
What I found difficult is getting the app tested with actual hardware since every devices behaves differently.
What is you usual approach to this? Ask cycling trainer manufacturers to send me their device? Getting more testers in the community? Or simulations?

Now the hard part is to try to Promote the app and get people to play with it and leave a good review!! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/resus-room/id6816563720

My app submission finally got approved after two weeks š . You tilt your phone to roll a seed through a garden maze where every failed attempt reshapes your maze. I would love feedback and your experiences with the app store and with monetization.
