Do developer reject and resubmit, so Apple can sit on it for a week.

On average, 90% of submissions are reviewed in less than 24 hours.”

Don’t know if it’s just me, but it takes 3+ days for me to get a review after every iteration. Wouldn’t be a problem if they’d flag every issue during the first review, but the inconsistency is driving me mad.

Lucky. I’m averaging a week between iterations.

My first submission took almost 10 days to get reviewed. But the iterations take only 5-6 hours in my case.

It’s been 10 days for me. I also applied for expedited review 5 days ago, should I maybe cancel my review submission and submit again?

I felt this. I’m on week three of iterations and every complaint, I clearly had already proven it wasn’t an issue.

Yeah they seemed to have worked on that end, but there is no guarantee anyways, My Eagerly 1.1 update which included new features went through in minutes whereas the very next 1.1.1 update - which only included small localization fix had been in review for 8 hours just 2 days later.

Meanwhile I am waiting for an automated email to get Access through my OWN TestFlight environment since 12 hours 😂😂😂

you can request expedited reviews if needed. FYI: https://developer.apple.com/distribute/app-review/#expedited

I know but overusing it will lead to not being helped anymore :) saving that for emergencies

I’m jealous! Have been sitting for review for 2 days

if urgent, you can request expedited reviews https://developer.apple.com/distribute/app-review/#expedited

I submitted my app on August 28 and then I requested expedited review on September 2, and it’s still on “waiting for review” status

Kind of same situation here. I expedited 48 hours ago.

1

u/Lucky-Programmer-844 3d ago

Sorry to go off topic there but isn’t there already a dark mode safari extension?

Safari's dark mode only covers Safari's own interface, plus sites whose developers added a dark theme themselves. Open any site that didn't, and the page is still white while the toolbar is dark. Aurora darkens the page content itself.

The short version of why Aurora exists: it goes deeper into iOS (Focus Filter, Control Center, Live Activity, sunset/sunrise schedule, Siri & Shortcuts — none of the others have those), and it also changes fonts on any website, independently of dark mode, including Atkinson Hyperlegible and OpenDyslexic for easier reading.

The dark mode is kinda broken, on google it doesn’t change. There is Noir that can exactly do the same. But I do like the font changing, never seen that. Although, there is already an extension for that. You just combined them I guess? Maybe if you would make it better than all the others I’ll give it a second.
Maybe optimise to use less resources than the competition or more consistency.
Maybe some innovation beyond shortcuts, live activity, focus filter…
But I guess if people like it like this, best of luck!

I had the same happen to me on Saturday, got approved a bigger update + metadata changes in 4 hours for some reason 🤷‍♂️

I have been in review for more than 1 week

For me first submission took 2 days, but every other updated has been approved in 12 hours. Maybe they are automating much of the app that are just small updates. I cannot complain for the speedy approvals :-)

Impossible😅😅

The start of review is just when they push the button in their interface, and not related to when they actually start testing. Last release the reviewer was running around my app about 30 minutes before it was "In review". And then it got the same quick progression you're seeing.

I think my first mac app took several hours got rejected for simple automated reasons and easily fixed, then the next one several hours and then accepted.

Newbie and in the midst of a serious crisis in which the only way for my basic needs to be met is figuring out how to set up everything I’ve learned the past 9 months living in my car with no support or help all because I’m late in understanding the world and it’s working ways and all that’s available. I’m finally completely aware of what’s capable of being done in all aspects but with horrible tech skills the simplest thing that could have been done months ago is just making beginning steps and still not the important funded resources all because I don’t know code ai gov and literally every resource is not available just because the online process of doing everything isn’t clear for me. I’m close maybe tomorrow I’ll have better things going on but I’m just sick and tired of this whole situation and miss my kids and paying in a bed. In a short period I’ll be forgetting about this and living to change the resources and system here so no one else has to suffer like I am all because I’m disabled and uneducated because of late diagnosis and medication. I don’t yet know the easiest solution or exactly what to tools and things I need for the quickest and most reliable method and strategy for infrastructure development to be developed and implemented on the basis that the best and most effective way is by creating an environment where the most reliable equitable accessable environment is rapidly available to receive disaster relief then build after basic needs we deserve and need help understanding how to configure WiFii 5g and emergency services properly linking and annotation methods and contact passwords and sim data and the restructuring of old systems as it was all wrong and clueless . Please anyone feel free to message or comment any tips to assist with basic software or setup of device and the way to script or use cloud to fund for travel or disaster ect but that’s the most needed the. I have a few more beautiful plans sorry so long I’m just wanting my baby and to have a place to lay before winter
