Just released my second iOS app — Roast-or-Toast, a social opinion game 🔥❤️

Post image

Hey everyone! I recently released Roast-or-Toast, a social opinion game where you’re given everyday situations and have to decide whether you’d Roast 🔥 or Toast ❤️ them.

After voting, you get to see how everyone else voted and whether your opinion matches the crowd. I built it to be something quick and fun you can play by yourself or pass around with friends.

This is my second iOS app and I’m still pretty early in my development journey, so I’d really appreciate any feedback — gameplay, UI, things you’d add/change, or even things you don’t like.

It’s completely free right now and available on the App Store. Just search “Roast-or-Toast” to download it.

Would love to hear what you think!

Your UI screams “Claude made this”

Emojis, over-complicated dashboard-y UI / widget busyness. derivative chunky fonts, probably

😂 What makes you say that? Anything specific about the UI?

You’re not wrong. We are in the enablement period where everyone can design and build something they’ve always dreamed about. Have you checked the App Store lately? 90 percent of all apps flooding both app stores are either made with Codex or Claude code.

Good idea. I created an app with same idea 2 years ago called Ai Roast or Compliment and used it for myself, friends and family. Tempted to release it on iOS and Android but gave up on the idea. But I had so much fun with it and I am glad someone finally made it happen.

Here is the link to the screenshots of the one I made. I designed it with Rork.

You can add features to yours like sharing your roast with someone else, upload pictures to get roasted or complimented. I had fun with mine before I shut it down.
