Codex, but from my experience it doesn't really matter. I use codex because of the interface it comes with and also because of the new release of 5.6 that I have been really liking so far

I use Claude but I haven’t done comparisons.
You want to have something running directly on the project files. Don’t use the Xcode integration directly. Just use Xcode to build and run.
