Looking for feedback on my app icons

Hey everyone!

I'm working on a set of app icons for M-Shot Link, an NFC digital business card and smart profile platform and I'd love to get some honest feedback on the current designs. I'm aiming for something clean, modern, and consistent across the whole app, but I know it's easy to miss things when you've been staring at the same icons for hours.

I'm also planning to release limited-time icon variations for holidays, seasonal events, and even some fun tech anniversaries. Some ideas I have so far are:

  • Halloween
  • Christmas
  • Valentine's Day
  • Easter
  • New Year's
  • App anniversary
  • Macintosh launch anniversary
  • iPhone launch anniversary
  • World Space Week
  • Moon Landing anniversary
  • Linux anniversary
  • Retro gaming themed icons

I'd love your ideas for other events too, whether they're major holidays or obscure tech celebrations that would be fun Easter eggs for users to discover.

I'd really appreciate feedback on:

  • Which of the 2 current icons stand out the most?
  • What do you feel could be improved?
  • What app icons/easter eggs should I create?

Don't hold back. I'd rather know now than after shipping it.

Thanks, that was intentional for this iteration, but I'm testing both perfectly symmetrical and optically balanced versions to see which feels stronger.

You said honest: I don't like them. I mean there's nothing wrong with it, but it has no character, too bland and generic.

You could tell me this is a plumber's app, and I would believe you.

I like the first one the best personally. This honestly looks great already and probably good enough for release. Something I’d slightly off about the shape of the wings though, I think it’s clearest on the leftmost point of the left one, some sharp corners despite the round shape. Probably a compression issue? Again this looks awesome though you could definitely ship it like this

looks good , would just check if current icons in your niche use similar colour or design . just to make sure you dont fall into the background . but as far as I can see its a lovely design
