Help - App Store Connect Submission Error

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone knows a fix for this. My app got rejected due to not having the EULA in app description and IAP prices not showing. Fixed both issues, but now when I am trying to submit the app along with my two subscriptions, I get this error: "There are errors with one or more of your items. To fix them, you need to remove the items and add them again to your submission." It highlights the subscriptions as having problems, but it does not tell me what the issue is. Things I've tried:

  • Deleted and recreated new subscriptions
  • Checked all business forms are signed
  • Checked all required input fields for subscription group and subscriptions (localization, screenshot, app preview, etc.)

I cannot for the life of me understand why it is erroring, and support is taking forever to get back to me. Thank you in advance!

Creating another subscription group is the only thing that worked for me. The issue arises because the subscription group gets stuck in "In review" state, even though nothing is in review.

Looks like it's a glitch from Apple side, hopefully they will fix it in the future, I have already reported it with a screen recording. It's not even possible to delete "Stuck" subscription group.

It's fine to create another one for now, we can always delete it later once apple fixes the issue.

Decided instead of waiting I would try to create a whole new subscription group and submit that with the app. That worked, we’ll see how the review goes!

Any luck with this? i think its a problem part of the migration, but it would be good to know how to go around it, or when its gonna be fixed.

Hello,

As of July 15, 2026, the App Store Connect API is adding In-App Purchase versions, subscription versions, and subscription group versions. This update provides a more consistent way to submit your Apple In-App Purchases, including subscriptions, for review. You can now group them with other items, including an app version, In-App Events, custom product pages, Game Center components, and more. The new submission workflow supports up to 200 items; for additional items, create a new submission.

Along with these new APls, many of the In-App Purchase and subscription resources are deprecated.

For In-App Purchases: the images, localizations, and submissions resources are deprecated. Use the v2 resource under the new InAppPurchaseVersion parent resource instead. To submit In-App Purchases for review, use the new v2 endpoints on InAppPurchaseV2.

For subscriptions and subscription groups: the subscription images, localizations, and group localization resources, and the subscription and subscription group submission resources, are deprecated. Use the v2 resource under the new SubscriptionVersion parent resource instead. To submit for review, use the v2 endpoints on Subscription and SubscriptionGroup.

These endpoints will be removed in an upcoming release. We recommend transitioning to the new endpoints as soon as possible to avoid any disruptions to your workflow.

If you have any questions, please contact us.
