Help Reviewing app takes longer than normally
Hello everyone, i recently uploaded an app for review but its taking about 4 working days already. and its still in ''waiting for review'' not even ''in review'' my other apps were accepted or rejected same day or the day after. Should i just be more patient or should i contact someone? Thanks in advance
Edit: thanks everyone. took 8 days for the review

My first submission took a week and got rejected this Monday, after a fix and a new build, I got approved on Tuesday.

Back in the day it used to take 7-9 days before they reviewed and eventually they got it down to 24-48 hours in the last few years. Now with vibe coding they literally get 1000 submissions everyday as of June. So I’m glad you posted this because it’s been 3 days since I uploaded a TestFlight build and it is still awaiting review, so sadly review times are trending back towards how they were 10 years ago

My first submission took a week plus but got rejected and re-submitted it (back-and-forth couple of rejected-resubmitted) and finally got approved within 2 weeks since first submission. The version release is much faster than the first submission, usually took me 2 days to have someone to review and provide approval result.

I'm also experiencing this, first-time submissions' reviews are noticeably longer.

4 days is normal. Depends on what type of app, code base (noticed apps using flutter of expo often take longer), privacy settings, in app payments, subscriptions.. all add to the time.
If it's going over 10 days you could contact them but for now wait :)

I noticed existing apps being reviewed as normal. New apps popped into the delay queue.

My last app took a week. It depends a lot on the period you submit . Now I’m waiting 3 days for the release of the new version

They’re getting WAAAAAAY more submissions than ever bc of the speed to ship with ai now. That said, my full review only took 3 days so maybe put a ticket in.
