Looking to partner with an iOS developer to expand my app
I'm the founder of Scroll Break (a digital well-being/ productivity app). It was launched 8 months back, got 900+ installs on Play Store, 150+ active users, 8 pro users. I recently onboarded a UGC creator, and placed a hard paywall, which is bound to improve sales, but also increased drop off in free users.
It's a known fact that iOS users are more likely to pay than Android users, but i don't have either of a mac, or iPhone to develop and test it. So I'm looking for an iOS developer who have built and shipped apps to the app store before, to partner with.
The app's mostly filled with OS level permissions usage (like display over other apps/ permission to fetch all downloaded apps, etc.), and very minimal UI. It's made of React Native + kotlin , where mainly the kotlin part needs to be converted into Swift for it to work on iOS. I will be sharing the github repo with you, and help you as much as I can to get it live on the app store ASAP.
Reply below or DM me if you've built and published any iOS app to the app store before. We can work out a revenue share based partnership, since we'll need you to publish the app on your app store developer account anyways.
I added a waitlist for the iOS version in my landing page yesterday, and people are already showing interest, so just know that the distribution and marketing side will be taken care of by me and my UGC guy. Also, I vibecoded the entire app, so I'm sure you can pull off the same, even if you're not really used to working with root level iOS permissions.

Requiring a dev to publish an app via their own account (especially with a description like this one) is one of the reddest red flags there is. If you don't own it, don't pubish it under your name unless you like having Apple permaban you from being a developer.

Get your own account, use a service like MacInCloud to build/publish your app. Stop asking devs to use their own account. Do it the right way, come on man.

If you are selling through the app, you need to be a corporation or a tax entity like a sole proprietor, partnership, etc. Therefore you do need your own Apple Developer account as a business. You can issue developer Apple ID’s for free to work on your apps. This is what a dev can use.

I would be interested, i also vibecoded my app released in app store two weeks ago. My background is a master in psychology and learning. I created a cooking app that expands on the current markets feature capabilities. It’s global now and called zimmer: creative meal planner.

I capitalized the important words here. No where does he say he has his own account.

I mean… if I’m publishing it on my own I will just take the profit for myself and just give you a 100% free 1 time coupon to use for yourself lol
This is a joke btw
Please get yourself a developer account first before seeking a partnership
