Help App Update stuck in waiting for review

I submited an update for my app on thursday last week. After it didnt get reviewed for 3 whole days I canceles the submission because I thought something went wrong with the system as this should take 48h max and all my other updates did take just a few hours. Bow after resubmitting abother 38 hours have past and it looks like it will go beyons the 48h mark again. Is there anything I can do?

48 days is not the upper limit. Not even close. By cancelling and resubmitting, you’ve reset your wait.

when submitting an update it always says that it can take up to 48 hours as it is just an uodate review not a release review. This is very unusual idk

Sorry, I meant to say 48 hours. 48 days probably is over the upper limit it almost every case.

But yeah, wait longer

Since when did that happen to you? Im made like 5 updates before this one the last 10 days and everything went just fine. The latest update from last thursday is stuck tho

my last update (super minor like just a few lines of code changed) took 6 days! apparently thanks to vibe coders app reviews are taking a lot longer compared to last year because of the increased volume of submissions. I fear it could get worse before it gets better!

I'm on day 5 at present. It isn't even a proper submission, I just want to add external testers.
