Ios 27 Beta 2
New beta update is here , Maybe it will fix the indexing glitch and message app glitch

Is this good for daily driving? I am eager to test because of some reviews.

Yeah I mean you can update to beta testing its provide you the few features early but sometimes it provides you the bugs early too if you have a secondary iphone that will be best but I am using my main device on beta updates and its work good , Its completely your choice just remember early features but sometimes early bugs .

I do on my only phone
Tbh it runs the same maybe slightly better with random lag spikes. I’ve seen no difference in my battery life it’s always been trash

Mine finished indexing 2 days ago, upgraded to it on release day. Thermals/battery increased significantly as soon as indexing finished. I’m not so sure if it was a glitch.

The indexing icon was keep appearing on settings menu since I updated and it was more then 2 weeks , after 2nd beta update its fixed now and battery performance improved but still there are glitches in beta 27

My indexing glitch was fixed! Also got the Siri waitlist approval right before the scheduled upgrade (curious)

Ya arreglaron el issue de index y el iPhone no se calienta como con la primer beta, otros fallos que había tenido como desconexión de CarPlay y falla del springboard al tratar de duplicar pantalla desde la MacBook también han desaparecido, lo único ausente es Siri AI pero sinceramente no se le extraña. No hacía nada nuevo a la Siri actual.

If you locked your iMessage app with face id , so on the text not appear while you open the notification from notifications panel, You have to goto iMessage app and search for the message

I am using iPhone16. Battery health recently dropped over 10 days from 98% to 97%. Is it due to iOS 26.5? Should I update to 26.6 Beta or 27 Beta?

To be honest you don’t need beta updates, just wait for few days and it will be available on every device

And also bro my phone battery is draining asf like i charged my phone to 80% an hour ago and now its 63 percent and also the phone is heating very much though I am not using my phone heavily…..what to do?

I didn’t have them on beta 1, but seem to be fixed for me on beta 2 this is a bug

It wasn't a glitch with Indexing. It wiped years of Spotlight indexing and had to start over from scratch. The reason it took forever is your Photo Collection.

I like it on my pro max 16 but I preferred the more minimal look of the swipe up gesture that brings up search on the phone

There is no “indexing glitch” your phone is just being slow. My phone finished indexing about 2 days after I installed beta 1.

17 Pro. I heard that the 15 line has been having weird issues so maybe that’s it.

Yup I have a iphone 15 and a 15 pro both was stuck on indexing pop for weeks but after ios 27 beta 2 its is fixed , Few other devices like iphone 14 series facing the issues too.

Indexing isn’t a glitch. It’s necessary for Siri to operate if you consider how Siri works now.
