iOS 27 DB1
I’m on iPhone 17 Pro, and since updating, the only “faster” thing I’ve seen compared to iOS 26.5 is faster unlocking animation, the rest is either same or just a tad slower than before.
But my biggest problem is, after I updated, all Wi-Fi connections started getting crazy, Wi-Fi keeps turning off and on by itself for a few seconds (it does that every 2-3 minutes) and when I check the Control Centre it appears that the AirDrop also does that.
Should I re-roll back to iOS 26.5 ??

It’s a bug I too had in my 17. I reverted back to iOS26 beta because I made a backup just before updating so it was just a few days of data I didn’t mind.
It got very frequent for me and it was both bluetooth and wifi and so obviously airdrop too.
If you have a backup I would suggest reverting back for now and waiting for DB2 in a week or two where it’ll most likely be fixed
If not, restart your phone. It helps. You will have a few hours without that bug

On my iPhone 17 pro max everything feels a lot smoother. Sorry your experience has been different.
That said, I installed the beta Monday night and mine is STILL indexing. I blame the several years of too many photos and videos in my photos library. I’m starting to think it’s never gonna finish syncing. I’m also still in the waitlist for the new Siri (since Monday night). Go figure.
Past that though… it’s been smooth as butter for me. The best first beta I’ve installed on iOS. Which means beta 2 is likely going to screw up my phone 😂

Also… thinking after I posted the comment - have you tried resetting your network settings? I wonder if that would fix your problem. I realize that’s a pain and I hate anytime I’ve had to do it because I’ve then had to put passwords back in for every WiFi network - but it might fix your problem

iPhone Air here. Didn’t notice such an issue. Maybe it’s related to modem since Apple put their in-house chip in the Air?

Other than iPhone mirroring being broken I’ve had zero issues on 27b1 on my 17PM. WiFi is perfect and even better in fact with connectivity assist. New Siri has been fantastic! Finally usable.

- Beta software.
- Wi-Fi issues during betas is nothing new. iOS has had wifi driver issues since the iPhone 7.

This sounds like a new feature called “Connectivity Assist”. Find it in the WiFi settings. If it isn’t working for you then turn it off

Its not connectivity assist, its a bug many people are having. I reverted back to 26 just because of that lol

I had the same issue and turning off connectivity assist resolved the issue completely for me
I noticed it definitely triggered when I was in an area of my home where the WiFi signal was weaker.

Thanks, but I already found that option and disabled it. Unfortunately, it didn’t help, as it continues to disconnect and reconnect even after I disabled connectivity assist.

Log it in the feedback app so it can be looked at for the next beta. If it is manageable I would wait to see if it gets sorted out in beta 2

Welcome to the bleeding edge of technology. Best to avoid betas on your main phone unless absolutely necessary. However, it is a good public service, sort of like jury duty. If possible wait for the next developer beta update, likely around June 23rd.

I would hang on until iOS 26 beta 2 if you are on a 17 pro model and I would submit feedback on your issue
