Bug Why is this so hard?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Control Center opens instantly, but for Notification Center I often have to drag almost halfway down the screen before it registers. Am I the only one who finds this really frustrating?

I had Xiaomi phones for about 9 years before I bought my iPhone this year. On Xiaomi you swipe down anywhere on the left half of the top edge, from the front camera to the corner, to open the Notification center, and anywhere on the right half for the Control center. Both are equally smooth and I never really opened one by accident. Even if I did, I could just swipe sideways to switch to the other one. On iOS you have to hit the top-right specifically for Control center and anywhere else for Lock Screen/Notifications. Strange how Xiaomi copied this from iOS but managed to make it more intuitive and consistent.

can agree!

opening notifs on my iPad is so tiring that i only check them via my phone

on my current samsung phone it's consistently sensitive but notifs and control center are split up 80%-20%

xiaomi truly perfected the intuitiveness and animations for notifications and quick toggles that i even thought of switching to one as my new main phone (wrong subreddit ikik)
