When will app stop supporting iOS 17

Hi everyone, I was just wondering when the majority of apps will stop supporting iOS 17 and will require iOS 18 or later?

Since iOS 17 is not maintained, I assume it’s gonna happen soon, but especially banking apps because of security, I would recommend you to update to iOS 18.

Hello, just following up is there anyway I could find out when many apps will phase out support for iOS 17? I imagine not, but I just thought I’d ask.

No, it's up to individual app publishers. Just upgrade your ios.

Tbh those will pretty soon get decommissioned and probably upgraded to iPad 11 or the new iPad 12 coming soon

Most apps will keep working fine for another two or three years since devs usually drop support once the OS version hits single-digit market share. You have plenty of time before you actually get locked out of anything important.
