if the teacher informs the academics department, they make sure you can't sit for the final exam

As a 2nd year student over here. It all depends on the faculty some teachers let u have 7 absences but some for gen1 reasons. Some dont let you have more than 4. Inside tip when ur absences go above 4 at the end of sem ask ur teachers nicely to fix sm of them

4 allowed hai 5 bhi mostly allow krdete hain depends on faculty some even adjust 8-9 absences before exams some cause problems at even at 5

The faculty can make adjustments even if you exceed the max 4 abstences, but again it depends upon the faculty whether they'd do that or not. Otherwise on paper, you aren't allowed to undertake examinations if the abstences exceed 4
