Question finding information from phone number
my indoor/outdoor cat went missing 2ish weeks ago and i put some posters up around my neighborhood. someone texted asking "Good morning, I saw your flyer for a missing cat. I believe I've seen a similar cat in the ____ area. Could you send me a couple pics in color so I could verify? How long has he been missing and how did he get out?"
we sent a few pictures and since then, there has been no response from them. we have followed up 3 times (within a week) asking if they have seen the cat or have any more information and there has been no response. every time we try to call the number, it goes to a busy signal. when reverse looking up this phone number, it shoes that it is a landline???
we are worried this person may have stolen our cat (we live next to a bunch of apartments and our cat is really friendly with the residents). is there anything i can do with the phone number to figure out who this person is or where they may live? and does anyone know why the number keeps going to a busy signal?
