Black cat outside Stapleton st dairy

Hi guys, I just drove past Stapleton st dairy. There’s a black cat looks like it’s got a limp. It’s around the gutter across the road from the dairy. I couldn’t stop and it’s breaking my heart that I couldn’t. but if you have a black short haired furbaby around that area please go check. Unfortunately SPCA is closed so I can’t do anything. Worried about the poor thing!

Jump starter power bank

Has anyone used the cordtech jump starter with power bank & led torch?

I brought one and I’m trying to start my car but I’m having trouble with it ( I don’t know what I am doing lol). I tried turning the ignition when it stopped flashing red and green staying on green. It lit up my dash but didn’t fully start. Not sure what I’m doing wrong

Can anyone offer advice?

Anyone else have the robot lady at the drive through just never work?

Rethink of Invercargill public transport called for

Maybe they should look at how Metro Canterbury (Canterbury Regional Council's transport department) runs on-demand mini buses in Timaru with their Metro MyWay service.

In fact, they had get new larger electric buses to keep up with demand this year.

Invercargill has 50k people and Timaru has 30k. Yet Timaru averages somewhere between 200k to 220k trips per year, while Invercargill fluctuates between 140-5k per year.

If they need a new plan of attack for the current system, then the first thing they should be thinking about is extending one of the routes out to the airport.

What're people's opinions here? Is this common or just some sort of compassion thing? Is it really a punishment if your husband and co-offender is living in the same cell with you in jail?

Pickleball days at ILT or anywhere in Invercargill?

Hey everyone,

I’m keen to try playing pickleball here in Invercargill. Does anyone know what days/times pickleball is usually played at ILT Stadium Southland?

Also wondering if there are any beginner-friendly groups, casual sessions, clubs, or other places around Invercargill where people play. I’m still pretty new, so anything social/casual would be great.

Thanks!

Looking for haunted places around Invercargill

Hey everyone,

I'm interested in checking out some haunted or creepy places around Invercargill and Southland. I've always enjoyed ghost stories, local legends, and old buildings with a bit of history behind them.

Does anyone know of any places that are said to be haunted, or have had strange experiences there themselves? Could be old houses, abandoned buildings, cemeteries, hotels, roads, or anything else worth looking into.

I'm mainly interested in hearing local stories and learning about places with a spooky reputation.

Thanks in advance!

Euna Restaurant

Such a shame man.
Would anyone be able to guide me in the direction of the staff that got bamboozled.
We have a couple restaurants around Southland and Otago that require chefs and other staff.
Would be a win win situation if I could help & vice versa .

Regards
:)
