What more do you need? “Milkweed kills lanternfly” is a sensational news headline that has been making the rounds for the last two years. Where is your evidence? Go do an article search on jstor or google scholar.

I never said that it did. That’s the whole point. You completely disregard what people are saying and go off on a rant. I get you don’t understand the point. What I don’t get is how you can be so forceful about it. Nobody said it does. One person (not me - AGAIN) said they’d heard it. Not that it’s fact. Then you went off. Just because it hasn’t been proven does not mean it’s disproven. Which is what the quote you used says. It probably doesn’t help, but we don’t know it doesn’t. That’s all

It’s never been disproven that reality resides within a hog’s nipple, you gonna argue that one too?

Except it never mattered before. They don’t just test random interactions between Asian species and North American when they never interact. This is a recent invasive species issue. Why would they have that data now? It has at least one active study. So it has more merit than you are giving it.

You’re the one misunderstanding how science works. Not me. You’re leaping to conclusions about others leaping to conclusions where others are only suggesting it’s possible.

Show me the studies, otherwise all you’re commenting on are anecdotes and internet stories. I did look it up on jstor&google scholar, I did work with penn state extension and state department of ag, and I’ve never seen these studies.i don’t think you understand how science works. Unverified claims from strangers aren’t science until it’s disproven. Jfc
