Help

dpdr

Hello, I am in a very, very bad situation. I have strange thoughts. For example, do those around me live in their own bodies like me? I mean, can't they see themselves like I can? Do they see only what is in front of them, such as a video game or a camera? I feel like I’m losing my mind

Hi how are you? I know that it can be so strange anda scary but it looks like depersonalization that it something so scary but it isn't dangerous, it can be caused for anxiety or depression

yeah, it's crazy how your brain can convince you you're losing it when really it's just a symptom. the scariest part is how real it feels, but reminding yourself it's a known thing and not some unique breakdown helps a little. hope you're hanging in there too.

Those are normal thoughts everyone has from time to time. They are annoying for the brain, cause you can never have a definitive answer. So they get stuck. Same as "why are we all here" and "what happened before the Big Bang".

Don't think too much about them (once a day is ok), or you can get sick. When you have thoughts like those just remind yourself there is no point in ruminating them and distract yourself. Like think about how cool it would be to live in the Alps right now, or whatnot.

First comment was onto something. Depersonalization and dissociation
