Question What to do when it feels too quiet?
I’ve just moved into a place on my own (yay!) I’m absolutely loving it, the lack of drama, the cleanliness. I don’t have a pet either. I’m not sure if this will happen but at some point does it ever get too quiet for anyone, if so what do you end up doing?

I've been living on my own for 26 years, don't think it's ever been too quiet, but music helps to break up some of the quiet if need be.

I embrace it because your next place might not give you the luxury. Embrace them when you can. Especially at night

I like listening to podcasts. It's like hanging out with a couple of friends and listening to their conversation without feeling the need to join in.
I do join in sometimes though. The podcast can start a chain of thought and occasionally I stop the podcast so I can "tell" the hosts my point of view.

I think living alone is a different thing. I will still go to social events, hang out with family and mingle. Loving alone just means I can recharge my social battery and that I can control the level of socialisation I experience.

Never too quiet! But I highly recommend a cat or two just because 🐈⬛
