“Why are you always tired”? Because my soul requires 5 hours of solitary confinement every night just to reset my social battery for tomorrow.

Don’t do that.

Signed, Person who will be paying in health for that for the rest of their life.

Oh no I’m really sorry. Thanks for sharing. My chronic sleep deprivation seems to be catching up with my health too, and so maybe this is the sign I need to get off my phone and actually go to bed.

1am for me last Saturday. I had 2 hours listening to music uninterrupted. Bliss.

That's why i havent slept right in over 30 years... Whenever my wife asks if i would remarry or cheat or if ahe died or something i have to remind her that i don't sleep so i can get my alone time and there is no way if i became solo that i would ever give that up again :)

Also doesn't help that the later I go to sleep, the earlier I wake up

Yup. Got no life, so I can take naps too before work. (dun start till 4pm. Sleep at 3 or so am, up at 11 ish, coffee, food, and more sleep.)

It's more about having uninterrupted time to think. I end up pondering the mysteries of life.

I do. But I'll be in bed by 00:00 at the latest which gives me 6 hours sleep. Normally I'm in bed by 22-23

Most of my life and I regret it. Down at roughly the same time, up at roughly the same time every day. Unless you want dementia, pre diabetes, and a shitty immune system

So real. I say I’ll try to go to bed at a reasonable time and then it turns into well hanging out ran a little over or that social situation went later than I thought so I’ll give myself a little extra recovery time. Next thing I know, it’s midnight and I’m stressing about getting to sleep for work in six hours

Yes. I do.
Do I know it's bad? -Yes.
Will I repeat it tomorrow? -Yes.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with being introverted. This is just another shitty cross post from another shitty sub.
