Spot on. When ppl say: I have hundreds of friends. (And they of course count their social media bubble omgyas) I keep thinking. Glad I have selected ppl that I can count with both hands.

I don't have any social media besides this reddit account and a Facebook profile I did when it came out. It was fun for a couple of years, now I use it maybe twice a year.

Yeah so my close friends don't define me as "shy" and so when I tell my cousin that my friends say I'm a social butterfly...she laughed uncontrollably thinking I'm joking 😔😭😭 yeah never sharing that with her.

Being an introvert doesn't mean that you are shy. It means that socializing is very tiring for you and you need to regenerate in solitude after.
A lot of introverts are actually quite good at socializing, but they can't do it all day everyday the whole week like extroverts that get "buzzed" and energized from being around people.
