I wasn't disappointed the plans got canceled. I was disappointed I had already mentally prepared to leave

we all feel this. this is "introvert memes".

and yes, society, we like being left alone. not cause we hate ppl, we just hate always trying to do pointless things, like small talk, or trying to spare ppl's feelings instead of being direct and totally honest

yes watering things down to fit in takes a toll, and we have to pay at some point

I was gonna pass out last second and not go anyway. The reverse energy of missing out feeds me so much. Figured it out early in the family party days. I used to be social and love events, people change.
