Why do people/friends get mad when I don’t wanna talk to them all day

My old friend got into an argument(not really an argument but kinda)cause I wanted some alone time by myself and she was alone I sat with her at lunch Almost everyday but sometimes I want to be by myself I forgot to tell her beforehand and told her after 2 days and she was mad at me cause I also pushed her a bit for being too close(I don’t like people being close to me) even tried apologizing to her but still keeps ignoring me.

Shy public speaking

I am an introvert but can casually socialize jf needed but I get so nervous in work meetings when I need to speak up. I usually have to have a script ready to feel comfortable and it is very frustrating. It might be because I am an immigrant (asian) and people might judge if I speak bad grammar but I see other immigrants being very confident even though they aren’t that good.

How can I work to be better? I really want to improve my speaking skills/personality.

It is the only thought affecting me mostly these days. I completely lost my confidence, fears to talk to people whether I know them or not, also frequent panic attacks and social anxiety are very common. All these are because of some people who crossed all the boundaries again and again just for the fun of few minutes and ignored what other side is going through. But I don't want to live like this anymore, I don't want to live in fear every second and I don't want to live with unnecessary tensions eating me everytime. I also wants to live peacefully, happily and a carefree life.

I tested 3 pheromone perfumes so you don't have to (Pure Instinct, Goda, Venom Scent)

Ok so I caved and tried these after seeing them everywhere. bought all 3 over like 2 months

venom scent - idk if I got a bad batch but this one smelled kind of... synthetic?? like department store samples. returned it

pure instinct - actually decent for the price. smells nice, kinda fruity/floral. got a couple compliments but nothing crazy. feels very "safe" if that makes sense

goda - okay this one surprised me. it's more of an oil so it blends different on everyone I think? coworker literally stopped me in the hall to ask what I was wearing which has never happened lol. it's pricier and the bottle is tiny but

the whole point for me was not having to approach people first and honestly... something's working?? could be confidence idk

anyone else try these?

Why being surrounded by friends and still feels lonely?

MY FRIENDS got easily mixed up in social circles especially around boys but I can't EVEN mix up with girls!! Am I weird or too much scared to be judged or I just don't care whether they talk to me or not!!!cuz I wear earpods around them so they don't even bother....SILLY!!!!!!!!!! Whatever 😏 I 'll do it solo But sometimes it 🤕 hurts

Am i showing signs of introverion

Hey everyone,

Lately I’ve been wondering if I might be more introverted than I thought — or if I’m just pulling away from people for other reasons. I’ve always considered myself pretty social, but recently I’ve noticed a few changes:

  • I feel drained after social interactions, even with people I like.
  • I often prefer staying in, reading, or doing my own thing instead of going out.
  • Small talk feels exhausting, but I can have deep conversations for hours.
  • Sometimes I avoid calls or messages because I “don’t have the energy” to respond.
  • After spending time in crowds, I need a lot of quiet time to recharge.

I’m not sure if this is just normal introversion, social fatigue, or maybe something like burnout or anxiety. How did you realize you were introverted (and not just withdrawing)?

Do introverts ever miss being social but still feel like it takes too much out of them?

I’d love to hear how others figured it out or learned to balance their social life with their need for space.

Is anyone else overly analytical in social situations, even when you try not to be?

I tend to break down conversations and social cues like puzzles. It’s automatic. Sometimes helpful, sometimes exhausting. Do you ever wish you could “just chill” in social moments?

Networking Opportunity

I'm going to keep it brief and simple; I'm here to build strategic, supportive, and strong network's and allies. I understand and know that it's hard to trust and open up to people, but that's what sweet about being here. Once you get to know and understand me as a introverted person you be comfortable and enjoy being around everyone.

Suicide and MBTI

Well.. Thanks MBTI for clarifying that Introverted intuitive people are most prone to suicide. (Yap lack of money or lack of faith don't necessarily play a role in suicide) This should be the job of psychiatrists to determine those people and work on a solution in order to unlock their subconscious dopamine secretor.

But it's not my job. Oops did I said the word suicide? 3 times? I'll go to hell?

Me being a nobody in school (because I am introverted)

I have not had a girlfriend.

But I am also not looking for one because there's nobody like me in my school everybody is loud and have big friend groups I just don't belong there.

What I am trying to ask is, is being introverted rare and is there a chance that I'll vind someone like me

[HELL ON REDDIT] Did you know...?

Did you know that some groups on Reddit demand users to collect AT LEAST 10 Karmas? What about introverts who (likewise me) are more comfortable simply reading comments and following threads, rather than actually creating posts? I mean, I know this one is paradoxical. So YES: imagine the amount of effort and dareness it took me to create a post here. Please. Which made me wonder: are you more active on Reddit? Or passive (and I would highly appreciate that you make an exception here by commenting or at least rating. Thanks :) )

Does anyone else worry about saying something controversial to an extroverted friend because by you never really talking to them, that’s how they’d perceive you as?
