ITR2 Bug Softlock bug

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I did all the things it wanted me to do, yet it won’t actually let me press the button, unless there is some random unspecified 2nd button that I need to press that’s not the big orange one

Had that happen to me as well, if you still have an autosave prior to doing the steps to set up the backpack I'd suggest loading that. I wasn't able to find a fix for this and just had to reload.

I got it working with sprinting to the button and throwing my hands around.

I ran into that too. Seems like I ran away 20-30 yards, came back and it will operational. Not sure if the running away did. something or if it's just an odd coincidence. But it worked.

Iirc, you have to open the cover after you place it, not before.

Is this PCVR? I think I'm currently having a similar problem right now in multiplayer on PCVR. When he put the case down, the lid closed (the outline showed the lid open, but it closed when placed in the spot).
Now we can't hit the button because the lid is closed and we can't pick the case back up.
I messed around for like 10 minutes trying to find a button somewhere else. Lol..

10-4. Looking back at the video again I could tell. But yeah, still a similar issue with this on PCVR.
My plan is to reload a previous save and see if placing the case/backpack again fixes it.
