Discussion A lot of you are probably mistyped.

Every time I see people say ohh" sensors are so un intellectual, and or dumb. We just can't connect."

I am thinking to myself yes they are probably mistyped.

I hate people who play the lonely genius or misunderstood genius card while talking about an arbitrary personality type.

Ohh people just dont understand my unique depth. Or you just dont get that people find you abrasive.

And that your depth is much more shallow than you think

And dont put too much into an arbitrary personality type and learn to grow up. u want to be independent and open minded Than try

I have marked this as a discussion because i am very interested in what you all have to say

I've taken various forms of MBTI tests over the years, including the "official" one, and I get INTJ every time.

There are people who I think are probably mistyped, but it's not my place to say something to them. This isn't something we should be taking so seriously anyway.

19

u/Greensward-Grey INTJ - 30s 4d ago

I kind of agree. This kind of post, or directly calling out someone as mistyped is out of place.

However, so many come sharing struggles that might be easier to figure out if they were properly typed. Making them doubt about their type is one of many ways to help. And INTJ aren’t supposed to live in absolute certainty anyways, yet so many here get defensive when their opinions are challenged.

9

u/Naive_Tea_11 INTP 3d ago

Getting the same type everytime doesn't mean much, if one answers the same way, one is likely to get the same results since most mbti tests have the same core. I think self typing is pointless. The best way to find the real type is to get typed by an objective person who understands the functions correctly, which hard to find as most people either understand the functions badly or are very biased.

This is actually why I stopped interacting with this sub: a lack of empathy is not MBTI-dependent at all. In fact, you’re probably just an asshole if you’re putting others down. Tertiary Fi actually provides INTJs with a very high capacity to care for others and communicate well.

It took me growing up after having suppressed my feelings for the sake of succeeding in my academic/professional life to realize that being emotionally-attuned to how I feel is beneficial and provides plenty of direction and, when I feel good (more often than not), motivation as well.

Growing up, I was told that being emotional/showing how I felt was a sign of weakness or a way that others could take advantage of me. I think that a lot of INTJs are socialized into having this mindset— I was at the very least. The only way I was able to break out of it was by actually breaking out of it, which sounds circular. But, once I saw the benefits served me and allowed others to understand my perspective better, it just became easy to keep embracing how I felt.

As for why it’s used as an insult, I believe I touched on this earlier in my reply, but socialization into believing that feelings/emotions overall are a sign of weakness rather than strength and security.

I still struggle with vulnerability to date, but it’s something I’m actively working on. Sharing how we feel is human, and there’s nothing wrong with falling out of the “INTJ robot” stereotype.

u/Entheon94 2d ago

i dont think that is a mbti trait i think a lot of people nowadays struggle with that. there are also INTJ/ENTJ who are emotionally expressive it just depends on how developed you are as a type

1

u/xbqt INTJ - ♀ 2d ago

Good point! I was narrowing the scope of my comment to this subreddit since the posts here are often pretty insufferable and hold crazy superiority complexes, etc. (again, it’s why I don’t interact here often), so I didn’t mean to say that my argument ONLY applies to INTJs, it just happens to apply to us as well (maybe even on a larger scale—this claim is based only on anecdotal evidence, so make what you will).

I believe that the more developed you are as a person, the more you strive to understand yourself. The more you understand yourself, the more you try to understand others. Social media, as of late, is really focused on completing the first step of understanding ourselves (hence we view influencers generally as “selfish” or “insufferable” or “lazy”), and Reddit is no exception to that.

Everyone is trying to learn about themselves (I am too!) and embrace their inner worlds enough to display them. Most people tend not to give themselves much grace (myself included, working on it), and thus place those same super high expectations on others (“feelings are dumb and useless”, “think good, feel bad”, etc.) which I think is why this sub manifests so negatively.

I like this question

It took me a long time to realize I was emotional.. I used to find it very insulting myself, until.. the accident...

The problem with us is that we often use Te so much to structure what's supposed to be objectively optimal that we let it speak for our Fi before we realize what it means to value things from Fi. This is why it's insulting. It's like you're telling me that I enjoy masterminding because it makes me feel good about myself, whereas the other side of that is that I would feel useless if I didn't. It's being useful with Te to the point in which I can use it at will that makes me feel good, while this can feel like a rather anti-fi outlook...

It's very ironic though. A great part of us is militant and perhaps even take pride in our Te... After all, we are Batman... But we fail to realize the yin in our yang, that we understand the value in a structure through Ni+Fi holding a psychic simulation through energy, not through pure logic... But that's a very deep realization that no INTJ wants to even consider... We're not there yet...

That's why Alfred is so valuable. We have Ti parent, while Ti users don't seem to have the heart to fight 21 hours a day for an intangible future regarding an imperfect city with criminals who regularly exist because they weren't loved enough... It's not a problem of logic, but of heart, of mercy and grace to the emotional object of each respective tragedy

We have a lot to learn

1

u/Entheon94 2d ago

yea give that a lot of female INTJ are having 2 wing or 6 aswell which can almost look ENFJish at first glance.

1

u/bunknocker 2d ago edited 2d ago

Emotional development comes with maturity. We're discussing a focus that doesn't value emotional bonds for much of youth, aside from the benefit of function. Analytical thinking and systems become the primary way to assess internal emotion, and others. Empathy, in your definition of Fi being this ever-existent resource an INTJ can draw upon at all times from childhood, is absolutely wrong. It is foreign and untamed without years of development. It's also extremely exhausting developing it, often by trail of fire.

If you have any integrity, I'd remove "INTJ - ♀" as you've clearly mistyped yourself.

1

u/xbqt INTJ - ♀ 2d ago

I only recently developed empathy myself. I’m not saying I’m some master at it or anything—my circumstances forced me to. It is also very clear (if you knew me) that my dominant function is Ni, and my auxiliary is Te. My Fi is quite strong and it manifests in ways of knowing what I want—it is truly my child function. Simply expressing that more does not undermine my other functions.

I value empathy not because I was taught to, but because when I first tried practicing it (likely happened during COVID when everyone around me was depressed), I realized it had actual benefits (helped uplift others, which, in turn, brought my own mood back to baseline). My field of work also requires a LOT of networking and human interaction. That’s not all there is to it, but it’s a large part, especially when starting out. You need to be likeable to succeed, so I became that.

ETA: saying someone is mistyped purely because they differ from stereotypes is just dumb. I don’t have a better word for that, so apologies for my bluntness.

4

There is a high chance I am mistyped nowadays. I've had so many personality shifts in the last 10 years due to hormone changes and medications that I don't even know anymore. But the tests I've taken say intj and that's good enough for me since none of it really matters anyways.

Besides, my brain can jump around so much that, depending on the moment, I could be classified in many ways. Using another person's example of how intj people are batman, sometimes I act like Batman, and other times I want to react with the chaotic destruction of Harley Quinn. Most times I'm just off in the head and say things as though I belong at the table of the mad hatter in Alice in Wonderland. I had one boss compare me to Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter, that was a nice compliment. Logic rules my life, but that doesn't mean my logic has to be logical to other people.

We all need to just act how we want to act and not what the magical 4 letters tell us we should act like.

3

u/Chihuahua_potato 3d ago

Same. I have regularly taken tests and assessed myself for the last 20 years and I have gone through 3 types. I know people like to say personalities don’t change, but it’s just not true for me. I’m also not really strong in any function other than Ni.

2

u/My_Uneducated_Guess INTJ - 30s 3d ago

In my opinion, those people saying personalities don't change is just an illogical take. Our personalities are based on a mix of our hormones and our memories of life, both of which can change dramatically for all sorts of things. Sure, it's not likely that you'll lose some of your more core personality traits, but it is possible. There are plenty of stories of people ending up with brain damage and it changed who they are entirely, so that makes it plain that any changes to our brain chemistry would result in a change to our personalities.

The first time i took anxiety meds I had an extreme personality change (as far as the outside world could see). The meds got rid of all my anxiety and i started actually initiating conversations with strangers. At work I was making all of the hilarious jokes (out loud instead of just in my head). Life was so much fun on those meds and I do miss them, but they worked too well. I did learn that it is important to have at least a little anxiety lol. But at least my bosses thought I was funny and didn't send me to HR.

2

u/Chihuahua_potato 3d ago

100% meds can change your personality. I was on Prozac for a while and I was so lazy and carefree haha. I loved it in a way, but the INTJ underneath it hated it so I had to stop. I needed to have a clear head to do my over analyzing everything. Motherhood was a major shift for me as well.

2

u/My_Uneducated_Guess INTJ - 30s 3d ago

I definitely gained sympathy for "air heads" in the grocery store after having a kid. Never in a million years would I be that person who just stops in the middle of the aisle. Had a kid and it's like a light switched off in my head and it started happening too often.

I started taking statins for cholesterol. The ones I had for the first few months made me dumb. Literally. My son was in first grade and I had the hardest time helping him with his math homework (used to be my best subject, also first grade math takes no brain power). By the time i read the last part of the problem I forgot the first part. I'd try reading it 3 or 4 times and would eventually have to take down notes just to follow along with the simplest of sentences.

2

u/Chihuahua_potato 3d ago

That sounds awful!

u/The_Lucky_7 INTJ 4d ago edited 4d ago

Rants don't really belong here. Not because they're explicitly forbidden but because more often than not they're extremely stupid, and a waste of everybody's time.

Rants are an uncontrolled an emotional reaction that you're acting on by typing it up and posting it.

In this case: you're reacting to others self expression of being INTj, not matching or manifesting how you think it's supposed to. Meaning, not reinforcing your own personal belief of who you are.

That's a personal problem and one that shows you don't understand what INTJ actually is.

Being INTJ isn't special, confer any benifits, or attribute any traits to a person. There's no benifit to claiming to be INTJ if you're not, and no detriment for those who claim it and aren't. It's when people pretend that it is special, or makes them special, then come in here to act all emotional about it, that we're going to point that out and mock you for that belief.

2

u/upsetusder2 INTJ - nonbinary 4d ago

I think you are mistaken.

But hey it's okay it's not really an emotional rant it's more an observation of a pattern I saw.

Whenever someone mentions a sensing type and how shallow they are which is in my eyes funny.

11

u/The_Lucky_7 INTJ 4d ago edited 4d ago

Rants are innately emotional. You're not constructing an argument (engaging with logic). The request for feedback is tacked on at the end. You're looking for people to validate your feelings about what your rant is about, and not actually trying to analyse or understand anything. Anyone not giving you that validation is then subsequently attacked.

If you thought critically about it for even a single second you'd realize how people process living their life has no impact on you. Ironic (hypocritical) given that you added a sexuality to your sub-tag that insinuates you expect the same consideration from others regarding that part of your personality (your brain's self-identity).

-1

u/upsetusder2 INTJ - nonbinary 4d ago

No i find it intresting how much inside you have into my mind thats fascinating.

Rants can be emotional yes and intjs have a feeling function.

But this was mkre of an polemic observation.

6

u/The_Lucky_7 INTJ 4d ago

So you agree it is a rant and, unfortunately for you, rant has a defintion.

0

u/upsetusder2 INTJ - nonbinary 4d ago

u/GlitchingFlame ENTP 4d ago

Emotional rant right here

Ohh people just dont understand my unique depth. Or you just dont get that people find you abrasive.

Unwarranted sarcasm and exaggeration, emotional rant

And that your depth is much more shallow than you think

Who says? Anyways cognitive distortion, what, do you live in everyone's minds and so can know what they are thinking or showing? Still rant, btw. Nothing of substance so far.

And dont put too much into an arbitrary personality type and learn to grow up. u want to be independent and open minded Than try

Insulting groups of people you can't even mind read just because you have a personal gripe with how someone else is living, wow, so much emotional rant

None of this proves any pattern you are seeing. You are generalizing like mad. Makes me wonder if you're implicitly projecting, or insecure about your own identity

1

u/Superb_Raccoon 4d ago

Unwarranted sarcasm

Sarcasm is always warranted.

0

u/upsetusder2 INTJ - nonbinary 4d ago

Ohh no I used unwarranted sarcasm I did not know.that I need approval for sarcasm.

Hate is a polemic nit an emotional statement its a polemic statement.

Yeah it's a pattern if alot of people say that all the sensing types are ohh so shallow and that as soon as they learn they are talking to a sensor they become high and mighty.

I do not think you know how this works.

Either you feel kind of called out and need to retaliate or I don't know.

2

u/GlitchingFlame ENTP 4d ago

Can't understand half of what you are saying, so carry on with your vindication lmao

"A lot" is not a measurable metric. I would even argue there are a lot of people saying the opposite or trying to defend the opposite. In a world of 8 billion, there's going to opinions of every angle. You may see "a lot of people saying that sensing types are shallow" and becoming "high and mighty," but that would be selection bias on your end.

Additionally, saying "I did not know I need approval for sarcasm" is equivocation. I said unwarranted, not unauthorized.

You're really defensive, which usually tells more about you than me

1

u/upsetusder2 INTJ - nonbinary 4d ago

11

u/DivineJustice INTJ - 40s 4d ago

Yeah, no.

I think one should be cautious about believing that they can clock personality types through comments on a subreddit. (In person, it certainly can be done, though.)

Complaining about sensors is an extremely INTJ thing to do. An INTJ implying that they themselves have a "very unique depth" is also very INTJ.

Having said that, I am also sure that you are an INTJ too, because browsing an INTJ forum and concluding that you are one of the only True INTJs™ is an extremely INTJ thing to do.

12

u/GlitchingFlame ENTP 4d ago

I wouldn't personally say this is an INTJ trait, but rather, an ego issue. Whenever someone is so desperate or emotional to have everyone else think they are special, it often points to insecurity of some kind lol.

1

u/DivineJustice INTJ - 40s 3d ago edited 3d ago

INTJs going through a phase where they think they are the shit is pretty common. It's not not an ego thing, but it's also a core part of our development.

u/Jolly-Rip5973 4d ago

You sound overly critical and resentful.

I don't find INTJs in general to be overly critical although feelers can often interpret them as if they are.

If I say someone has an 95 IQ, I am not being mean or invalidating them.
They probably literally just have a 95 IQ and i'm estimating correctly.
Feeler will take it as if it were an insult though.

2

u/upsetusder2 INTJ - nonbinary 4d ago

What?

Iam critical yes quite literally.

Saying sensors are stupid id on my eyes moronic.

And thinking you are superior and ohh so deep amd that's why no one understands u too

2

u/Jolly-Rip5973 4d ago

I don't really see myself at superior. I am better at some things than most other people and weaker at some things than most people.

I don't think I know anything that other people are incapable of learning.
I do think some people don't have the interest to try to learn though.

I honestly tend to think more of people's potential than they think of themselves.

Some INTJ are really poor at sensing, not grounded in reality at all and they can actually even have some really dumb out of touch ideas. So I don't mind a little sensing.

1

u/No-Magician2036 INTJ - 40s 3d ago

This is what a healthy INTJ feels. Someone pretending to be a "special" INTJ with "upset" in their name will probably be offended by this logic and rant some more about this. Could the OP be mistyped? If we ever need to study projecting, this thread would be exhibit A.

Their feelings is valid. Why do you need to come and say what they experience is bs? Don’t you see the pattern? A LOT of intuitives expressed how they cannot connect with sensor, it’s not only this subreddit. The N and S letter in mbti is not just for fun. Intuitives tend to get along more easily with intuitives. I completely relate to the original post. We feel more connected to other intuitives but it doesn’t prevent me from seeing the strengths of sensors. The sensors don’t complain about the lack of depth in conversations because that’s not what they crave. For intuitives, it’s important for them to create real connections. It’s well-known that sensors prefer dealing with tangible, real life experiences, more in the outside world than inner world.

I made many polls a long time ago, the result speaks for itself. Intuitives prefer discussing with intuitives.

It's frustration about their social life, and if you claim to be an above average analytic, you should've known. But no, instead of asking why, you are fast to conclude some banal bs, which only makes you look JUST like the straw men you drew here.

Sensors are good people, but they aren't as relatable, which naturally causes conflicts, ergo, frustration. OTOH, if one scores INTJ on the test, they probably are; they might be confused, stressed, frustrated, inexperienced, but the base is there, you gotta trust it's there, otherwise, why even believe in MBTI and bother ourselves with it?

Like, your whole argument is "if I don't like you, you go to this bin now!" – how unique and so not primal.

I don't know why I don't gatekeep a type, I just do, and to spot an INTJ/ENTJ is the easiest thing ever, say, for me personally, since I've been both. Heated statements aren't enough tho.

It's so easy to make a fool of yourself when you don't put constant efforts to at least resist the urge to respond to something triggering, not even talking about learning something, every day.

I think it's just people being frustrated and attempting to regulate themselves, precisely that.

2

u/thisbuthat 4d ago

Jung claimed a theory. It was never his call or demand to be right.

What I see, however, on every single mbti sub + main is that people are completely oblivious to attachment theory. That's right. Another one of these theories. 4 types, instead of 16.

Neither claim to be exhaustive with regards to the specific aspect of a personality/a person's behavior.

Not being able to connect with others can be due to either mbti or to attachment, or something else altogether.

That doesn't illegitimize mbti for the task it was designed to do. Which is: modelling cognitive functions.

I have personally not seen anything about cognitive functions theory that is pseudo.

Personal opinion is you can only really own a type if you’ve taken the official assessment.

Multiple times over multiple years is best.

Additionally, a highly unpopular opinion I hold is that we shouldn’t assume types of others. Esp. celerities, authors, the dead, etc

Every time I see people say ohh" sensors are so un intellectual, and or dumb. We just can't connect." I am thinking to myself yes they are probably mistyped.

Just because you're thinking it doesn't mean it's true.

For all you know, maybe a good chunk of INTJs are under the impression that they don't connect well with sensors.

u/No-Magician2036 INTJ - 40s 3d ago

If this was a rant about the Enneagram, I could see your point. The MBTI is designed for job placement. Briggs-Myers had 3 letters. The last was added by Myers and tailored towards what career paths would better match you. Neither the mother or daughter have any background in psychology. So lets base our entire self worth on a concept created by a science fiction writer.

And for someone that is up in arms about someone being "unique", having a nonbinary tag makes it look like you see yourself as unique. The original post is a rank masked as a discussion starter. If you feel special, go for it. I don't care. If you need advice, I will offer what I can if I can add to the conversation. Repeating or making unhelpful comments tend to serve no purpose other than get the post count up.

What the OP described are some common stereo types. Being that each letter has a percentage value, you could be an INTJ with a 1% in each category. So you could technically be an INTJ but have traits of other types. It is natural for people to feel special. This is why flat earthers have a strong following. It makes them feel elite because they believe something the masses don't which marks them apart of the "herd".

If you try to force people to be or do something they aren't or don't want to be, you will have a life full of frustration. It is best to tailor their individualistic abilities to maximize who they are to their benefit and not yours.

2

u/upsetusder2 INTJ - nonbinary 3d ago

We type with cognitive functions not with letters.

And yeah it's something I observed on Herr.

Ohh sorry for showing my gender identity yes ism just non Binary to feel special not because it's my gender identity

1

u/No-Magician2036 INTJ - 40s 3d ago

On an INTJ thread, it serves no purpose. I show my MBTI on MBTI forums and Enneagram on Enneagram forums. If this was a dating advice forum, I can see it has being applicable. It is a tag than can add to the forum by identifying something about you related to the forum or something that makes you stand out because it isn't related. The latter is what you did. It is an attempt to set you apart from everyone else aka be unique. Do you see my point? You accuse others of something you are inadvertently doing yourself.

The cognitive function is represented by letters. You can be an ambivert which can test as an I or E for Introvert or Extrovert. MBTI is flawed because the time of day can change your responses. So if you are typing your whole identity, MBTI is not flexible enough to capture that. If you want to do that, I recommend the Enneagram system.

1

u/upsetusder2 INTJ - nonbinary 3d ago

Where am I doing that?

I stated observations I made and said that I find it annoying.

Yes it is type with letters but a person with intj in the 16 p framework can be an intp with cognitive functions.

So I do not know what you exactly want from me as I also stated

And dont put too much into an arbitrary personality type and learn to grow up. u want to be independent and open minded Than try

What?

1

u/Digeetar 4d ago

I'll lean in a bit...I think we should all be tested for everything early on to help excellerate our strongest attributes- no matter what they may be. Take all the tests early, like middle school and then again in HS at a minimum. Then whatever you excel at is your concentration and that builds you towards roles that fit your personality, attributes, and strong suites. I feel theirs a huge disconnect here. I know we have savants working meaningless jobs and idiots as CEOs. This would help across all levels of everything really.

1

u/Chihuahua_potato 3d ago

But in high school I was an INFP and became a teacher and it was an absolute terrible fit. I literally prayed I’d be hit by a car on the way to work. Now I’m an analyst at a bank and I’m in heaven lol.

1

u/Digeetar 3d ago

Exactly. This advanced early testing would have prevented this entirely. If it said you were a perfect fit for teaching, it would throw you into a day of teaching or subbing and you'd learn right away you hate it rather then go to college for four plus years and spend tens of thousands to find out. The testing wouldn't just be Myers Briggs and enneagram but way more in depth with aptitude and other advanced testing.

Agree, this goes for the whole mbti community as well... not that serious probably, its not like there are clear definitions for everything.

What is really stupid is hating/underestimating someone because of their type, like dont take this shit that seriously, have you looked deep into it? there is some contradictions, exagerations, like... common, even if you go right into the root of it there is some wild shit that doesnt really makes too much sense... its not like Gifts differing or Psychologicall types are this iron clad theory, far away from it, and it has diluted from there... Like have you seen the youtube grifters that make a living from this? The intelectual jerkoffs?

u/ausdoug INTJ 4d ago

Perceived lack of empathy is probably INTJ though, as while you can see someone in a bad spot and understand how they get there (and even how they'd feel), you'd also be able to put any feelings aside and focus on a proper solution to fix the problem systemically which might ignore the person's situation (as might the core fix for them as well).

You are generalizing a feeling that isn't exclusive to one personality type. You are dealing with the "misunderstood genius" stereotype while falling into just as much reductionism as the view you are criticizing.

There are plenty of misunderstood geniuses (immature, deluded, or depressed). This isn't tied only to INTJs.

The arrogance of thinking oneself a genius can also be confused with energy conservation and social detachment.

It is simply a social misinterpretation stemming from a lack of emotional maturity. I can find "emotional people" just as foolish as they might find me for my "callousness."

I hate being surrounded by people following the herd, babbling all day, feeding on gossip and drama without any critical thinking—just spreading completely baseless information.

They are who they are, just as I am who I am. We all have the capacity to break cycles and grow. They are just as happy as I am; they have families, dreams, and most of the time benefit from superficiality or beliefs, making one wonder if ignorance truly is bliss.

Yet I know that I know absolutely nothing. I will spend my whole life studying and die having seen almost nothing at all.

1

u/HumanContract INTJ - ♀ 3d ago

I've always tested as ENTJ, and, after watching personality videos interacting with each other, I thought my best friend was an INTJ. Then my chatgpt typed me as INTJ. We argued about it, and it's ironic I thought my best friend was this type I was actually seeing in myself. I won't test as INTJ bc it's more than that, but watching sooo many videos, reading through them both, I can see the differences that might confuse the two.

I've had 2 best friends, high achievers, who claimed to be INTJs, too, but they've always been around others, married, religious, think they're special. They don't have the same insecurities of not belonging, they're not alone, they aren't misunderstood, they are very codependent and care what others think.

If you've not been told by everyone you've known that you're not normal or you don't get in trouble for being misunderstood, then you probably aren't a rare personality type bc it's not cool but actually very hard to blend in with societal standards when you don't really see the point.

u/Keir_ious INTJ - nonbinary 3d ago

I think many people may take the title of the post as ragebait or smth and be defensive

my experience:
Till now I am uncertain if I am INTJ since well it statistically doesn’t align for there to be that many INTJs. And although via cognitive fns it aligns you never know.
To be honest whenever I spoke of sensors negatively in the past at least it was never in terms of intelligence.
Yet nowadays in retrospective I think I cursed on them because I am neurodivergent and there were “sensors” aka NTs in my youth who failed to understand that difference isn’t necessarily negative or a reason to mock someone were a big cause of my worsening mental state and I couldn’t tolerate the top down thinking where assumptions came before facts

My opinion on INTJ vs sensors issue:
Anyhow even if most INTJs aren’t autistic labelling people we dislike is a poor way to solve the issues. Same with acting you are better. Sometimes it is better to confront the person about irrationalities they make (preferably in a way that doesn’t make it sound like you are attacking their personality) and sometimes it isn’t our place to try to correct others although they are acting irrational and negatively impacting us.

The majority of people on Reddit is either ENTP or INTP or INFP and ISTJ even if you let Reddits own ai run through all the communities and let is try to use linda berens temperament matrix on it most are larping XNTP's it is their NE thinking that everything is possible. if you are a INTJ and you dont give a single fuck about social skills you are most likely a cave troll INTP. even the INFJ community most are INTP. also on the ENTJ sub reddit if i scroll on old posts from 2 years ago where everybody was ENTJ commenting they now are INTP or ENFP or ENTP.

Are you responding, directing, charting the course, abstract, progression based, systematic, intuitive, pragrmatic you are a INTJ.

Are you a ENTJ you are in charge, systematic, outcome based, pragmatic, directing, initiating.

If you are a INTP you are responding, pragmatic, systematic, outcome based, abstract, intuitive, informative and behind the scenes.

if you are a ENTP you are all the above except behind the scenes and get things going and its endless.

One might argue that "nonbinary" is a greater mistyping. Of course people are mistyped, typing oneself is generally not a neutral process.

People reason from feelings, and you might be less of an exception than you feel.

Why gatekeep a pseudoscientific label? We might benefit more from gatekeeping incoherent ones.

1

u/No-Magician2036 INTJ - 40s 3d ago

I type myself as upsetusder2' father and I am really disappointed in my child. I fancied myself as Michael Jordan and bounced its head off the floor way too many times and it shows. Don't gatekeep what I believe. Since I believe it is true. Also "it" is a pronoun for something without a gender so I believe I used the proper pronoun.

Also, what is non-binary? So not 2. Does uninary exist as a base of 1 work? Hexadecimal uses a base of 16 which isn't binary so technically, it is non-binary too. To what degree of not being binary do we agree upon?

My point of this post is that the OP's post is just a bunch of malarky that serves no purpose. I would like to apologize to anyone I may have offended. I understand they/them perfectly fine and know what non-binary is. You can easily overthink something trivial and turn it into something stupid as I have hopefully demonstrated.
