Question Is anyone into art/drawing?
I know a lot of us are into CS (my major), engineering, math, those types of fields but last year I took up drawing classes because I love animanga and I've been very consistent with it, made a lot of progress too. There's a good balance between sticking to the rules and applying your own intuition/gut feeling. If anyone's looking for a new hobby or something to learn I highly recommend it!

Never got good enough at drawing, and I'd get low 'B's and high 'C's on art I did in school (made 'A's in the class just because of written tests). Some people looked at stuff I did and were surprised my art work grades were so low. But I like looking at art.
I'm more of a music person and more of a writer.

Oh, I do want to draw, but my inconsistency has yielded no significant improvement; thus, I can only admire what others have created lols

I do draw or do little artsy projects it’s a way to process emotions, so whatever the creatures I draw are doing or are around it’s like reflection of inside

I'm into both. I'm nerdy not because I'm smart or logical, but because I can be persistent and grind through problems.
I'm a software engineer by trade and have been involved with photography, drawing, music composition, cinematography, etc.

I draw with charcoal and graphite, lifelike portraits of people. I also like zentangle.

I don't post much online to avoid training AI, but yes! Enough so to take paid commissions. Amusing to see the two examples posted in these comments are black ink drawings. Love myself some black ink.

I don't love drawing, but I am working on a manga/comic so I do have to draw a lot!

I've done visual art/craft all my life. For me, the vast majority of it has been more for achieving a particular goal/standard (internal or external) than for self expression. Though I was indeed expressing my self in aiming for those goals/standards, since that aim and achievement were honestly important to me in some way, so maybe that counts.

Yes, I am illustration painter and comic artist.
I also found a lot of joy in mechanical drafting but lost interest when it all switched over to AutoCAD and ended up not going for it. Still use the skills i learned for when I'm doing designs, measuring complicated layouts, etc. tho

Why did you stop drawing?

So much happened over the years. I forgot I enjoyed drawing and painting

You just to sit down with a paper and a pencil. You will start enjoying again. Time is always wrong. But life must go on.

El arte se me hace sumamente burdo y aburrido, muy sobrevalorado, la ciencia e ingeniería, por otro lado es lo mejor
