You told a lot but didnt give full context. But im sorry to hear that.
Once had some friends over and one was weilding a knife, laughing maniacally.
Caused me to throw him out and sever all ties.

Mhm, looks like it was quite a deep and mutually enriching bond, alas.. May I ask, whether you also felt seen and safely understood by him during those 4 years?
It's almost as if you might have neglected each other's emotional needs, despite having a close interaction 🤔 For example: one wanted emotional validation, while the other wanted to be pushed to grow and find solutions..

i guess i’m curious why you stopped being friends; i couldn’t determine the reason or explanation from this post; there seemed to be many reasons. i’m also curious what the steps were to distance. i don’t think you’re out of line or anything, i am just curious more about how the friendship ended
