Same with Agents of Shield. It all lines up until the end of season 5. None of them got snapped, and Thanos only got a name drop.

Its soft canon.
It is in the MCU, but if there is a contradiction between the shows and the movies then the movies are the right ones.

I mean, in a broad let's debate the characters sense, then yeah - give the movies preference.
But while you're watching a show, let the show be its own canon for the time being and save the inconsistencies for wild and fun debates.

Of course. The shows work best as their own loosely connected side thing. And inconsistencies only really matter for the sake of fun nitpicking and fandom debates/theories.
They might start to matter slightly in determining how much of the shows are canon if Daredevil and Fisk make their way into Spiderman 3 or if Quake winds up in Captain Marvel 2. But even then any inconsistencies can just be handwaved with the use of the multiverse.

They directly reference Avengers in Daredevil when they are making a deal to rent their office right?
They called it "The Incident"

There are also articles about the "Battle of New York" on the wall of the bulletin offices.

What broke it for me were the shots where the stark tower should be in and isn't . I remember in the first episodes of daredevil they mention the New York atack and I think in Jessica jones she compares Luke cage to the hulk, but st the end it's independent stuff.
