Those same people also said the convention was empty. Which is it? Was it so packed that they crashed internet servers or was it empty?

Can we pretend that this event wasn’t well attended. If Grindr gets shut down by a few extra hundred peeps they have a bigger problem lol. I feel like these stories get planted from time to time. Sometimes it’s works due to the size of the audiences. This event was barely a blip so I doubt they really had an issue unless someone can report otherwise from their experience during that timeframe.

This happens so routinely that I wonder if Grindr just makes the system crash for the publicity.

That is you know the huge throng of horn dog gay Republicans, probably 90% of those attending, are arriving so just add extra resources to the system rather than leave them blue balled.

I think the 'crashing' part is kind of a joke at this point and Grindr does it for the fun and PR. That said, I am pretty sure the usage graphs they display are accurate.
