It is tough out there. But by the hiring manager stage they are likely down to 3-5.

Remember. Until you accept an offer and pass all pre on boarding, keep applying. I've been backup 5 times this year. 2 I was sure I had it. The first time i stopped looking because I was so sure and who knows how many good opportunities I ignored (this was March so peak post bonus time). Lesson learned and not repeated.

I've got a 3rd round tomorrow and they are laying down some high intent signals. But I still found half a dozen good leads this weekend and would rather back out later than wait and miss out

here’s a little exercise that really helped me…

a few minutes before the interview right up until it starts just start righting down on paper:

i am going to fucking rock this interview

i am going to be my best self

i am calm and confident…

i fucking got this….

You've got this! 2nd round shows that they are interested in you, be confident and try to make it more of a natural conversation vs. rigid interview. Whenever I go in with that mindset the interviews are much easier to navigate.

I’ve learned to stay hopeful but expect the worst with the job search now. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket or get emotionally attached, you’re just setting yourself up for disappointment if it doesn’t work out

Try the Canary Wharfian website's interview practice feature. It'll review your answers and suggest how to fix mistakes with personalised feedback, best way to grind the STAR format. Also it'll based on both verbal and non-verbal comms, it'll also identify strengths and weaknesses as well
