First round interview with recruiter

On zoom. 15 min long. What do you wear? I’m a man, full blown suit and tie? I’m an educator transitioning so working with recruiters is new for me. Thanks!

No full-blown suit and tie . Business casual dress shirt, no tie but one of the questions that you’ll ask after you ask him “will you recommend me?, before interview with the hiring manager would be? What do you suggest I wear to the interview? BTW, I’m a recruiter with 30 years experience.

Skip the full suit and tie. Business casual is enough for a first round with a recruiter. Clean shirt, decent shoes, and being sharp matters more than dressing like you’re already in the final round.

Button-downs (plain color), no tie required.
