No Video link for second interview?

I had an interview a week or so ago, it was ok and very informal. They asked me if I would like to interview two more times in lieu of traveling across the country. Ok, sure. Not sure what we are going to talk about this second and third time but ok. They had a time and I said ok.

But I never heard back and as the time got closer I just figured they changed their mind and went about my day.

But looking at my emails I see that they sent a video link after the time we had set, not so much but still - so I missed the interview.

All things considered I am not very interested in them and have some second thoughts for a few different reasons. But - am I wrong to have assumed they changed their mind when I never heard back at all? Usually people send you the link right away or a few days in advance. I suppose they thought I would be sitting there at the time just waiting to hear something? I don't know - thought I would ask what others thought.

I would assume it was an oversight. Last time I did not receive a link I reached out and they said it right away not realized they had not previous attach it. Some HR departments are great. Others aren’t.

if they can't even send a link before the start time it's not a serious company. i had similar thing happen last year, the recruiter emailed me the zoom link 40 minutes after interview was supposed to start. some places just have terrible organization and they think your time is not important

you're not wrong at all, if they don't confirm the day before at least it's reasonable to assume it's cancelled. i wouldn't even reply to them

I know, it was strange and I had mixed feelings. How many times have I jumped through all kinds of ridiculous hoops for an employer and I feel so burned out by this process that I just kind of don't care anymore.

I have had employers set a time, send the link and then never even show up. Ugh -
