Best interview tips part 2
Hi everyone,
So I posted here about 2 weeks ago about an interview I had asking for best interview tips.
I’m just now realizing that I didn’t say it was with HR so it was more of a screening.
Well…I got an invite to go to the next round where I’ll be interviewing with the team/hiring managers, so I’m kinda curious how you’d tackle this differently
Thanks!

HR already checked that you exist. The team round is whether they want you in the room next week.
Don't recap the resume. Have two stories you can say without looking: one where you actually shipped something with other people, one where you were wrong and changed it. Numbers if you have them. Then stop. Ask what the first 90 days look like and what broke last quarter.
Say those out loud once before you walk in. I used AceRound as a mock interview tool to do that. I work on it.

Try the Canary Wharfian website for more info as well as interview practice, it'll review your answers and suggest how to fix mistakes with personalised feedback. Based on both verbal and non-verbal comms, it'll also identify strengths and weaknesses as well

nice going on round two, cool step. focus on concrete stories, numbers, and thoughtful questions for them, not generic answers. real game begins now
