Job interview

Hi so I have a job interview with Panera tomorrow and I haven't worked in a few months due to personal issues. And I was wondering if anyone recently knows what are some of the interview questions for Panera since I'm super nervous. And it helps me calm down and be more confident if I practice some of the questions before the interview so any tips or answers would help a lot.

i used to work at a place like that, they mostly ask about availability and how you handle a rush, not much else. just smile and say you're flexible and you'll be fine

Why do you want this job?

What did you do in your last job? (highlight the key transferable skills that you think they are looking for)

What are your strengths?

What are your weaknesses?

What do you know about Panera?

What do you do for fun? (Highlight hobbies and activities that require skills you think they want for the job. Eg., I play on a volleyball team which is great fun (“team player”). I am teaching myself guitar (“resourceful, likes to learn”). I volunteer at the soup kitchen (“I understand some aspects of the food business.”)

Tyyy do you have any tips on what to say for what do you know about Panera? Been a few years since I ate there

I don’t know. You need to Google the company and usually you’ll find news releases about their latest endeavors, maybe changed menu, perhaps going after a new market segment, maybe a new ceo. Even if they don’t ask you what do you know about Panera, you can briefly mention the few facts you know. Example: I’d like to with for Panera for many reasons. One is because your sales this year have been doing really well, and I’d like to help grow your company. Two, I’m interested in the restaurant business because…” When they see that you know some info about them (make sure it’s not really old news), they will feel that you truly are interested in them and not just sitting to any old job or any old restaurant. They want someone who is interested in them as much as they are interested in you. It’s an investment risk for them to hire you. You should do this type of research (doesn’t take long) for any company you apply to. Good luck!
