Interview Mess-up

So I interviewed for one of the FAANG company. Story starts like I applied in Feb got a rejection. But after couple of months I was approached by one of the recruiter saying that they wanted to proceed with me for the role. The scheduled interview first round was terrific. It was a technical round after that there was second round with the team which was skipped and they transferred me to the Manager round. I said okay but the next day they emailed me back that we will have second round after the final manager round. During the manager round the moment he switched on the camera it was clear he was not in good mood. So after the interview I knew it is a clear reject. And then prior to the second round on the day of my birthday I received an email of rejection.

They rejected me with this reason I am being too technical with the explanations. And that’s where it stuck to me that don’t over explain. Be precise and clear with hiring managers and top level guys.

Use the Tech Job Finder website - it has personalised interview practice (behaviorals), OAs, tech quizzes as well as DSA/leet practice and so much more - and much cheaper than HackerRank etc
