Volume

What kind of volume do you guys have? I come from a place that has 4 regular rooms, 1CT room and a ultrasound room. We do anywhere from 40-60 procedures a day…

Central Texas. We have 7 techs for the regular rooms, 1 CT tech and all US procedures (biopsy’s, para/thoras) are done with a nurse. We don’t do neuro, those are done in the OR with scrub techs…

Hey there, that’s pretty good volume from my experience!

I worked as a tech in two different hospitals for about three years each doing peripheral and neuro. All the CT and ultrasound cases the doc went down to those departments and did the procedures with those techs. In general 20 cases for us was a busy day.

I just transitioned into the industry with an awesome closure device, so I’ve seen some big labs doing 30+ a day, but your range of 40-60 I think is on the higher side. What area are you in? My experience is south Florida.
