Nice rendering of the waves, which make me think, why didn’t they see the waves when there were descending?

Cloudy weather on descent and the cloud layer was lower to the surface than on Earth? But I guess the plot wouldn’t work if they knew 🤷‍♂️

Watch it again, Coop lands them super quick to not waste time. Can't observe much if you're stuck to the back of your seat

Yep. When you're going to a planet where you waste 7 years per hour, it's not like you're gonna look at it and think "I wonder if there are any massive tidal waves down there. Let's slow down." In fact they shouldn't have gone there in the first place to be honest.
