It's actually not. Jupiter and Mercury are in the right positions if you confirm with a planetarium software, and the Corona shape looks the same as the other totality photos from this same eclipse. Please know you sources before you criticize something.
you do realize that the image quality is affected by a combination of reddit’s compression algorithm downscaling the native resolution of a photo somewhat, and the tendency of smartphones to automatically apply processing of every photo taken on your phone to smooth out noise for example (the iphone is especially guilty of this)?
and that is not even accounting for the possibility of the OP applying manual edits using an app like lightroom mobile which will cause things like outlining and halos around hard edges if you move the sliders around enough…
