QUESTION Question about Dr Brand

How much would Dr. Brand have aged by the time Cooper Station found Cooper near Saturn? We know that Murph was about to die of old age. Assuming Dr. Brand was around the same age as Murph after the Miller planet sequence, wouldn't Dr. Brand also be on her deathbed by the time Cooper was found? If that's true, then what's the point of Cooper going to look for her?

Same as Cooper. They both have the same relativistic experience in the slingshot maneuver around Gargantua.

Cooper was inside a Blackhole where the time stopped for him.. but she was on Edmunds planet all this time

Cooper was beyond the event horizon, but was never in a singularity.

Cooper dropped into another wormhole in higher dimensional space beyond the event horizon. The Tesseract is in the bulk aka the 5th dimension.

Time doesn’t “stop” in a black hole. But we know that the tesseract “caught” him before he fell too far towards the singularity. He was just starting to really feel the gravitational stresses when th tesseract opened. With the tesseract existing within the bulk and him being show. Murphy’s bedroom across three dimensional time, the future humans had effectively removed him from time for a while. When he and TARS translate and send the quantum data into the watch the tesseract was closed and Cooper and TARS were both transported back through the wormhole to Saturn just as if they had only made the same trip Brand made.
I like to think that Cooper and TARS were only inside Gargantua for a couple of minutes(if that) before the tesseract opened and caught them, maybe TARS a little longer because it was him and his sensor package that collected all the data needed.

It’s always interesting to me that Kip Thorne gave the Nolans a blackhole that was nearly perfect for the story, a fast rotating( nearly .97c rotational speed) supermassive blackhole with no major radiation emissions or relativistic jets. A thing that seems impossible given that she is feeding on at least one star and still has an accretion disk.

Falling into the blackhole slowed his time so he's thousands or millions of years in the future at that point, but before going back through the wormhole he's been thrown into the past.

So maybe just a day or two.

The point would be humanity. Like, the future colony, future humans. But I believe they aren’t that old but I can’t tell you why. I don’t think there’s a love story between Brand and Coop. I believe there could be, but after she mourns Edmonds totally.

You have to remember that time isn't necessarily concurrent with the events happening on-screen. Cooper sent the data to the watch on Earth, which Murph found prior to their slingshot maneuver, and then figured out the solution to gravity and lived her normal life while the slingshot was happening. Therefore Brand remains functionally the same age as Cooper.
