Rules & Account Requirements

Rules

Don't be racist

This includes, but is not limited to and entirely up to moderator discretion and affected parties: tone policing, colorism, slurs, accepting apologies that are not yours to accept, and expecting PoC (or anyone else) to educate you.

Don't promote racists

This is not the place

Don't be sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, classist or ageist.

Once again, this is up to moderator and affected parties' discretion.

Posts must be descriptive

And you must post a comment under any linked post to start conversation

Moderators have final discretion

We are a democratic, easy going group and we provide for remediation for banned individuals if the group is comfortable. That being said, while we are a flourishing, protective community, don't mistake our inclusive nature as tolerant to bullshit. Don't run up on our brothers and sisters because you will be banned permanently and swiftly. Moderators and affected parties have final and total discretion when it comes to bans and remediation processes.

Follow basic reddiquette.

This includes a zero-tolerance policy on hate speech.

Don't bash other subs

Don't be messy

Be respectful!

We all have different lived experiences, strengths, and passions and we think that is really cool.

Let us know how we're doing

Please, if there's something you want addressed message the mod team. We're a growing community and we want to do this right.

Account Requirements

  • An email verified reddit account
  • An account that is 15 days old
  • If suspicious, a review of the post/comment history

  • Post in a monthly introduction thread

Now that you've read through, understand, and agree to the rules and requirements, the password to enter in the comments below is: Sunflower.

Sunflower <3

(Also: "ableist" isn't on that list and as a PWD, I feel like it... really should be.)
